Does Anyone But Me…

…get the impression that the members of the power-clique known as “the Squad” – AOC, Ayanna Presley, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar – got the way they are because they were the “Mean Girls” in Junior High, and either never grew out of it or recovered that inner character flaw when they got into power?

Not sure why that occurred to me…

  1. Says the pervert that married her brother to break the law and defraud lenders and committed adultery while she was married, with another married man, while laundering campaign money through his company, then marrying him. Of course, since her heroes are also adulterers, ala Kamala and the Bidens, she sees it as decent.

  2. Nothing is a greater waste of time than criticizing the crazier house members of the opposite party.
The house is supposed to be volatile, its members represent a small number of people (about half a million) from districts that are gerrymandered to be as solidly dem or GOP as possible. Ilhan Omar’s district is a twenty minute drive from the district of one-time conservative firebrand rep Micelle Bachmann.
If you have congressmen like Ocasio-Cortez, you will necessarily have congressmen like Boebert, it is the way that the system works.

  3. Ilhan is just being catty. Being catty and mean is something most women can do.

I’m kinda more impressed (in a disgusted sort of way) with that tweet from the so-called Republican Accountability Project. I mean, it’s very clever by Ilhan(‘s people) to use that tweet to respond to because the text sets up Boebert as a nut (why listen to the speech?). The group itself is also interesting in an astro-turfed DNC front sort of way.

  4. Pot: meet Kettle. And what was that thing some people did on January 6? Did it have to do with crashing an airplane into the Capitol dome?

  5. Yesterday the execrable Cori Bush, Missourri congressman, decalred that she had been shot at by white supremacist snipers when she protested against the police shooting of Mike Brown in Ferguson.
Crickets from the media, as usual.

  6. MP, that’s just awful. That should never happen.

I call for enhanced training for white supremacist snipers, to ensure they are not missing their targets and thereby endangering the public, especially the children.

Can we get funding added to the Infrastructure Bill?

  7. Joe Doakes, I don’t think that any amount of training can make imaginary white supremacist snipers better shots.

  8. Let’s be honest here; there are not very many anti-semitic Muslims that get their picture beneath the definition of a Yiddish word, and Ilhan’s got her mug under the word “chutzpah”. With her “history”, it’s pretty amazing she dares to bring that issue up.

It reminds me of back in 1989, when the Cubs were playing the Giants in the NLCS, the San Francisco Chronicle noted that Chicago was “the city of broad shoulders and broad butts.” Chicago Tribune columnist Mike Royko noted it was sort of odd for a San Franciscan to bring up the topic of the derriere, but whatever.

  9. I love how the left always has some cutesy, childish word or phrase (sometimes the usage is childish), like “tax cuts for the rich”, or “trickle down economics” (Reagan never said this btw), “war for oil”, “angry white male”, “soccer mom”, and now: “insurrection”.

    Muh inseReksHuNn.
