From 1964 to 1968 my family lived in Charleston SC (Dad was a career Navy officer.) Back then, throughout the South, blacks and their white allies were harassed, beaten, sometimes killed. My Mom worked in the library at a black school and got threatening phone calls. The KKK was certainly a force. And it got taken down. It’s a joke that Omar uses the tactics she does. But I’m not laughing.

The Governor issued the new House Arrest order. How am I supposed to pick up my white robe from the dry cleaners?
And whose stupid idea was it, to make Klan robes out of “dry clean only” fabric? Every cross-burning costs me $20 to get it cleaned again. And Trump rallies – don’t even get me started!

She’s not what one would call wise and probably doesn’t know that many facts either, but she, like her old man, clearly has a knack for manipulating and perhaps even dominating people to her own ends. To write her off as a fool is shortsighted. -

Criminals often display an impressive ability for manipulation and domination. Some even possess extended vocabularies, although the content of their vovalizations are often inchoate, as if theyre reciting phrases learned by rote, without understanding context. It has nothing to do with IQ, just the opposite.
Low IQ career criminals are displaying skills necessary for survival in the hostile environments they are usually raised in. It’s pure, lizard brain survival instinct.

I like how Omar totally misquoted Matthew 6:24, neglecting to mention that the “two masters” spoken of by Christ are God and money, not God and the military. Then she misspelled “Matthew” as “Mathews”.
It’s the same brilliant intellect she displays by trying to compare Trump supporters with the KKK. OK, Trump supporters are open, the Klan was (is for a very small # of people) secret, Trump supporters hardly leave trash behind at rallies, while Klan members leave burned crosses and worse, Trump supporters are not guilty of violence, Klan members lynched thousands….yeah, just the same.
I’m personally curious about what persuaded her to stop doing business with her husband’s firm. That’s going to put a serious crimp in her family finances, to put it mildly.

You’re lucky, Pete. Dictator-for-Life Walz just cancelled Thanksgiving. Having the family over to give thanks to God is a “mini-spreader event” which will kill Grandma in the nursing home, somehow, I guess. Anyway, it’s all SCIENCE so it’s all good.
I guess our Klan will have to burn separate crosses this year.

She has done things and said things that mark her a stupid person. I am not certain that she could point out her district on blank map of the United States.

Back in 2007, when Keith Ellison took office, a friend of mine visited him in DC on behalf of his new business, based in Fridley.
When he got to Ellison’s office, the staffer stopped him. Ellison didn’t believe Fridley was in his district.
My friend insisted yes, it was.
The staffer went to check with the new Congressman. It took some hemming and hawing.
Gonna guess he hadn’t done a lot of door knocking along 45th and Uni.
