  1. The only sense it makes is that people have made up their minds long ago and no amount of October surprises, like Hunter hunting underage girls, will sway the libturd reprobate voter. Independent/Undecided voter is a myth. If there is one, or two, their numbers are statistically inconsequential to tip the scale one way or another.

  2. This exemplifies one of my many arguments against early voting.
It is possible that despite the media & big tech running interference for Biden, believable evidence may appear before election day that Joe Biden was hip-deep in the pay-for-play scheme democrats have been running for decades.
It is also entirely possible that Trump, or Biden, or both, could get the covid & die before Nov. 3rd. Ooops! Glad you voted early now, aren’t you?
And, of course, no one can yet explain the link between “more votes” and “better government.”
All you do with early voting is replace a vote that is a snapshot in time with a big pile of votes cast over weeks, that lawyers and judges can argue over. This does not exactly make elections more legitimate. On the contrary, in the end the losing side will always have a good argument that incorrect decisions by judges cost them the election. This is especially true if the winner on the night of the election is eventually declared the loser. It will conclusively prove that the early voters are a different political body than the polling day voters, so you will have had two elections by two different groups of people.
Way to unite the country and strengthen our democracy, early voting advocates!

  3. Max, it is as if you live in an ideal world where journalism exists, media is unbiased and voting public actually gives a damn.

  4. Oh, and I forgot to add that in your utopia apparently rule of law exists and is applied equally to all, because if it was in the real world, Slow Joe would be running his campaign from a jail cell and not from a basement, and Commala would have been disbarred long ago.

  5. This is why conspiracy theories and paranoid ideological trends work so well with “conservatives and the alt-right“ — it staves off the cognitive dissonance and bad conscience.

Says the guy went all-in for the “russian collusion” conspiracy, lol.
Intellectually bankrupt argument from a person with no integrity, as usual.

  7. This is why conspiracy theories and paranoid ideological trends

    • Russian Collusion
    • Kavanaugh was a rapist
    • ACB is a Handmaid
    • There is no “Anti”-Fa, but there’s a wave of White Supremacy just around the corner, honest, any day now.
    • The US was founded by and for white supremacy, which still drives everything about it today.

Do you ever get tired of everybody mopping the floor with your statements?

  8. MBerg: Seems to me the very people who point fingers at Liberals and ‘socialists’, are benefiting the most from liberal and socialist policies.

Georgia is probably irrelevant — Biden takes two out of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, or Arizona and he’s the next president. That’s an almost impossible map for the Republicans to overcome. I wonder who will tell Trump?

Trump’s going to get up Wednesday November 4 and say, “See I told you. There’s a massive amount of voter fraud. Look, at least 13 or 14 million fraudulent ballots all across the United States.”

  9. While I wait in moderation purgatory …

Remember, to the GOP, this election is not just about Trump. If his voters don’t turn out in their base states, that is going to impact on the GOP vote right down the line, potentially costing them Senate and House seats.

And there’s a long term consequence to that: many states define themselves by voting history. Plenty of democrat-leaning voters in Texas don’t turn out for national elections because “Why bother”. The same is true of GOP voters in New York or California. And the money follows the voters, so it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

But if even a few elections go to the other party, then the dynamic changes. Florida used to be considered a solidly Red State not so long ago, but now it’s a toss-up. Part of that is demographics, but the balance of power shifted much faster than can be explained by demographics alone, and voting patterns seem to suggest it’s mostly driven by bigger swings among formerly unengaged voters.

  10. Sorry to burst your rosy bubble, EI, but Florida was flooded by primarily retired, liberal Jews, that fled the nasty weather and retirement fund sucking taxes of the New England states. Further, since there is no state income tax there, so it became a mecca for illegal aliens and not just From Cuba or other Latin Americans.

  11. Do you ever get tired of everybody mopping the floor with your statements?

Based on the available evidence, no. Where have you gone angryclown, a comment section turns its lonely eyes to you.

  12. Even worse, Boss. The East Coast of Florida is full of New Yorkers; Fort Meyers areas is full of retired liberal Democrat Minnesotans who fled the nasty weather and retirement-fund-sucking taxes back home. These are the people who voted for Mondale in 1984 and their political views haven’t changed a whit.

  13. Georgia is also irrelevant. Biden takes two out of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, or Arizona and he’s the next president. That’s an almost impossible map for the Republicans to overcome. I wonder who will tell Trump?

  14. One must, of course, be careful of what one wishes for, but an angryclown return wouldn’t be all bad.

Better the clown you know, than the clown who knows nothing.
