    I’m not prone to violence, but I really need to quit reading this type of stuff, because every time I do, I want to go punch some MPR flak in the face for being so stupid.

    I know I’m not the brightest bulb in the drawer, but I don’t understand the connection between the title/text of this post (nor the following one as pointed out there by JD) and the linked-to article. What is depraved about not spending money? Was this supposed to point to the NPR article about who pays for the police?
