Most dangerously for White House chances of assembling 60 Senate votes, former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean launched a third day of attacks on the emerging bill, arguing in a Washington Post op-ed that it meets none of his benchmarks for “real reform.”
“[A]s it stands, this bill would do more harm than good to the future of America,” Dean wrote, then took to the airwaves to amplify his case.
…or that Fast Eddie Schultz, a man who actually is as stupid and hateful as the left alleges conservative talk radio to be (see Berg’s Seventh Law), is now considered a “top progressive”:
Ed Schultz, an influential liberal radio host [he’s “influence” a few million listeners to switch back to Limbaugh – Ed.], declared on his “Ed Show” on MSNBC: “The base is restless. They are wandering in the wilderness, Mr. President. … They want to know, where are you? … Right now, Mr. President, your base thinks you’re nothing but a sellout — a corporate sellout, out that. … The only people who like this current bill right now, Mr. President, is the insurance industry — they get a bunch of new customers.”
Don’t you love it when the left takes a break from demanding that conservative leaders run to the center, to demand that liberal leaders move to the left?

I did some digging into SITD archives and now realize who Fast Eddie is. I’m guessing MSNBC produces his show for the rating bonanza he brings. I wonder how he fares against Glenn Beck? Proper question may be where does one go after MSNBC? Maybe Tru TV?
I thought briefly of the classic NBC comedy “Ed”, starring Tom Cavanaugh and the incandescent Julie Bowen.
And then I though of the bloated cartoon Ed Schultz bumping uglies with Julie Bowen, and had to run to the rest room to violently vomit.

If you listen to Ed for any length of time, and I have, you cannot escape reaching the conclusion that he really is a dimwit. Olberman is a pompous assnozzle in desperate need of a therapeutic bitch slap, but he’s not stupid.
I listened to Obama Radio 950 much of yesterday, amazed at all the Obama bashing I heard – every host, every caller, including Schulz. Many framed as Obama getting bad advice from Rahm Emamuel et al. And they want Joe Lieberman’s scalp. Of course, this is the far far left that finds NPR too conservative, yet they talk as if they speak for all Democrats. I love a little dissension in their ranks, especially when they’re blind as bats about what’s really wrong.
We could be witnessing the death of the democratic party.
