Ilhan Omar votes “present” on a resolution recognizing Turkey’s genocide of Armenians.

And in her statement about that decision, she appears to have learned her rhetorical skills from leaving comments in the Star-Tribune comment section:

Put another way – “the resolution’s silence about other genocides – mostly the ones involving the US, the country that welcomed me to it – speaks volumes“.

And if accounting for genocide is “Paramount”, then what’s “academic consensus” got to do with it?

And we did “acknowledge” the slave trade, Rep. Omar: with the bloodiest war in our country’s history.

Note to Tom Emmer: Write a resolution condemning the Holocaust, the Rwandan genocide. See what she does.

Yeah, ding ding, Merg wins… this is the only place that has come close to the right, cosmic ontological explanation of this.

It is a ‘some people did something’. Which is to say, she’s not going to participate in any literal or figurative conversation that criticizes Muslims for anything, big or small. End story.

The academic, intersectional parsing that demands we talk about US crimes against humanity first is fitting, but operationally its BS. See the sentence above.

There’s a story in the Strib the last couple days that claims she’s going to evolve into a constituent services rep, and its a real eye roller.

I agree with this comment, but it made me remember something else interesting also happening in an inverse(? converse?) context. There was an interesting article at the Federalist yesterday: Why Haven’t We Heard A Peep From Islamic Powers About China Brutalizing 1 Million Muslims? A guy would think this would be the veritable red flag for the Muslim bull.

It’s interesting that the Strib decided to allow comments on the story. Usually a topic like this would not be allowed free speech (you do have to survive moderation, though). I wonder if this is the paper distancing itself from Omar.

And today we know that blanket statement is not correct. We know Negroes are genetically superior in some aspect, and inferior in others compared to other races, with exceptions fitting within the normalized distribution.

Of course today, it’s impossible for the academy to study, much less pronounce any consensus on anything that the left has deemed important to the deconstruction of Western civilization.

In the current year, 68 IQ refugees like Mogadishu Barbie, and survivors of fetal alcohol syndrome like Global Greta have been tasked with publicising academic consensus deemed useful by their leftist puppet masters.
