Reminds me of the Red Queen saying “Sentence First, Verdict Afterwards” or Sheriff Cobb promising a “fair trial followed by a first class hanging.”
In other words, a show trial like they have in third-world countries, for political propaganda purposes.
No wonder Obama is admired by dictators everywhere.

Don’t Obama’s words kind of work against the idea that the Musselmen will be impressed by us giving KSM a fair trial?
Or maybe O is trying to triangulate. I have no problem at all with KSM being executed here. The criminal trial in a civilian court is the sticking point.
Or maybe some kind of Rovean double-backstab is in the works. Khalid Sheik Muhamad is brought to New York. The cameras wait for him to enter the courtroom, and in walks Palin holding KSM’s entrails in one hand and Obama’s Kenyan birth certificate in the other. She has used the wicked stealth and survival skills taught to her by a sage Indian — maybe Chief Dan George — to bust in to KSM’s police van and disembowel him with a piece of scrap iron from the wreckage of the WTC. That’s when she conveniently ‘finds’ O’s Kenyan birth certificate in KSM’s pocket.
Obama resigns in disgrace. Sarah Palin is made Prezident. Her first official duty is to appoint Trig the mayor of New York.
I know which scenario I prefer.

I hope and pray Stedman Graham can win this case. And if they do, I hope my future grandchildren will still be alive to witness the execution.
If it takes us 20+ years to convict and execute a US citizen, just think how long it will take for a terrorist.

If they fail to convict, they can always take them back and try them in military court for the Pentagon attack. But this does reek of Stalinism.

Can’t wait to see how they get past the lack of Miranda warnings, interogation without lawyers, pejudicial statements from Obama, too much publicity to get a fair jury and all the other legal roadblocks the defense is going to use.

When the stimulus passes, unemployment wont go above 8%.
I’ll close Gitmo less than a year after I am elected.
All bills will be made public at least 5 days before I sign them.
I wont raise taxes on anyone making less than 250k.
Not exactly a great track record to go by here.
