The Fed runs with inflation and this increases our quality of life like these fines do. Be grateful or else.
Ever notice how when the government points a gun at you to increase it’s revenue, your quality of life goes up?

…and when the 10 year treasury hits 4% the USA is complete busted.
It is literally impossible now for any combination of inflation and growth to “defease” our debt.

Kinda reinforces the ominous overtone of the old saying: “We are here from the goobernment and are here to help”.
I’m thinking flying cars and moon bases might have something to do with “cost of doing it”, but I can’t deny that the cost of regulation might have something to do with a lot of other problems.
The problem is that there is no demand for a moon base.
Virtually all advances in space exploration have been driven by national security concerns. The promise of profit comes in second. Thinking it would be cool to o things in space is way, way down the list.
