Speaker Pelosi,
You’re absolutely right. Don’t change a thing. Seriously. Tell the haters to go away.
That is all.

From the linked story [emphasis mine]:
“Hillary Clinton did very well in my district. She won 70 plus percent. But I did better than that ― 80 percent plus.” “So that means there’s something they see in me that they don’t see in her. So the first thing is to figure that out.” said Rep. Marcia Fudge (Ohio), whose district includes most of the black-majority areas near Cleveland and Akron.”
Why isn’t Fudge running for the DNC chair? She’s clearly scary smart, reality based, is cis black and cis female.

Well, if they admitted that Hilliary’s problem is that there was a lot of evidence she is a crook, they all need to go home because they circled the wagons around her. No? They more or less said the sun was purple to protect Mrs. Clinton, and if they admit they were making it up now, it’s time to turn out the lights on the party.

This is hilarious.
“Dog whistle politics” has been the Democrat mantra for the last 40 years. We could also add, “shiny object politics”.

The comment section makes more sense than the article. I can’t believe they are really thinking this. Average people get it. The rust belt is up for grabs especially if Trump can re-open the factories and coal mines.

There is a certain lack of awareness at the good ol’ HuffPo.
On Thursday, at their annual retreat in Baltimore, House Democratic lawmakers insisted that the Trump campaign’s racist, xenophobic undertones did far more to bring voters to his side than his promises to boost the economy.
So Trump voters are denigrated as racist bigots, and that’s okay . . .
Trump won the GOP nomination by denigrating immigrants, Latinos, Muslims and others. He preyed upon the nation’s anxieties of such groups, going so far as to propose a ban of all Muslims entering the United States.
. . . while Trump denigrated immigrants, Latinos, and Muslims, and that is not okay.
But I am not aware of Trump denigrating immigrants as immigrants, Latinos as Latinos, and Muslims as Muslims.
Here is HuffPo’s article “9 Outrageous Things Donald Trump Has Said About Latinos”: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/9-outrageous-things-donald-trump-has-said-about-latinos_us_55e483a1e4b0c818f618904b
It’s not particularly convincing. Tweeting that JEB is soft on illegal immigration because his wife is Mexican isn’t ‘disparaging Latinos’, but “outrageous” does not mean disparaging or untrue. At HuffPo, “outrageous” means “non-pc.”

If I were to advise the Democrat Party, I’d say, “Check your privilege.”

please continue the strategy into 2018 dems, PLEASE. My theory of why progressives are so motivated and angry is because they were so close to completely taking over. Hillary gets the White House and she can issue enough executive orders to make the legislative branch meaningless. But then Trump came along on a white horse and screwed everything up

The Dims are striving to reach complete obscurity, they’re retreat is really a post-mortem, however they’re in denial that the corpse is dead.

They’d be wise to listen to one of their own who gets it. But they won’t. These protests will fizzle like the coffee party and OWS did
