Diary Of A Burst Of Stifling Entitlement

A candid history of the soon-to-be-late HBO series “Girls”, starring, well, everyone involved in the show.

I’ve seen a grand total of five minutes of “Girls” – don’t ask – and won’t pretend to care for it any more than creator/star Lena Dunham or executive prod Judd Apatow will claim I’m supposed to.

But written in between the lines of the article is the extent to which Urban Liberal Privilege greases the skids of Hollywood.

  1. What can I say? They all seem to really enjoy themselves and enjoy one another’s company, but they are still unlikable.

    Re: Lena Dunham

    Dear Mitch, don’t ever do that again.

    That is all.

  3. A page and a half? No clear direction? No character definition? No point? Hell, I go through that twice a day when my wife tells me what’s going on with the family. She milked five years of income out of that? My gosh, what am I doing wrong?

  4. Lena? I love the jokes with her and Ole, especially the one where she has triplets after Ole uses 3 in 1 oil……

    Oh, Lena Dunham? Never mind. She needs to find an Ole and marry him, I tink.

  5. HBO has been sinking big time over a number of years. “Girls” was disgusting from day one. I’ve been thinking lately to cancel my subscription, I’m just a breath away, way too many alternatives.

  6. Scott;

    Cancelled mine last year and told them why. I thought that their crap programming was pushing a left wing agenda and they weren’t going to produce it with my money. They’re still trying to get me to resubscribe.
