Union Members Fear Socialized Healthcare May Cost Them Their Pension

By Johnny Roosh

So let’s strike! ….because there’s no one else that can drive a bus or a car on tracks.

[Curly Stooge] Ironic, aint it? [end Curly Stooge]

[Pennsylvania’s Democratic Governor Edward] Rendell and [U.S. Rep. Robert Brady, D-Pa.] had announced a tentative agreement late Friday, but it fell apart Saturday over the union’s call for an independent audit of the pension fund and assurance that members would not be affected if the company’s costs increased with possible passage of a national health reform plan. [in other words they want the same deal as Congress!-JR]

So, let me get this straight. Union workers in Pennsylvania are fearful that national health care “reform”, brought to to us by the gerbils they almost assuredly voted for, could cost them their pension? So they strike…the week unemployment tops ten per cent?

The stupid is so thick you can taste it.

Where would the union get the idea that people who enjoy excellent health care plans might lose them under Obama’s reform plans?

Oh, wait – maybe somebody at the union actually read the bill, noticed the tax on ‘cadillac plans’ and realized that means them?

Pretty much confirms what the GOP has been saying all along – this deal will suck for everybody who already has decent health insurance.

I have a hard core Lefty friend who is a retired biologist from the USFWS, he’s all for “Health Care Reform” (read socialized health care), except like Congress he thinks he DESERVES his own special plan. Of course he also believes he derserves his own very special pension (like Congress). I don’t believe he ever paid a dime into SS. The friendship is wearing very thin!!!!!

He deserves a better plan because he worked in government? No. Just no.
