Now Sweden is facing societal collapse, crime is out of control and police are quitting their jobs.  This is the entirely predictable result of open borders they refuse to close because to Liberal politicians, Migrant Lives Matter but nobody else’s lives do.

 So who maintains order when the police resign?  I suspect neighborhoods will establish committees of volunteers to maintain vigilance against crime, like  Neighborhood Watch.   But when they learn that watching isn’t enough because the police aren’t coming to take suspects into custody and even if they do, the courts let them right back out again, I suspect some committees will begin to expand their duties to include patrol, apprehension, judge, jury, executioner and solid waste disposal.

    Supposedly, Richelieu offered Gustavus Adolphus 3 bathtubs full of gold to go to war against the German emperor. The Swede held out for 5 bathtubs full of gold, and got it.

    it will manifest (hell it is manifesting) like rolling blackouts… certain neighborhoods, then cities will essentially go dark, think current law enforcement in most of Baltimore, Detroit, large areas of Chicago, North Mpls and increasingly Mpls West Bank. Local governments will periodically try to regain control of the socially blighted areas but will eventually resign themselves to making huge transfer payments to Social Justice Warlords like Jackson, Sharpton, Levy-Pounds and the like. The leftist model being implemented is best typified by the Winnie Mandela model in South Africa. The best solution “concerned” progressives and Republicans(RINO variety) will be able to agree upon is containment which just kicks the can down the road hoping a Reagan figure will come along to reassert civilization.

    The sad thing here is that the people suffering most from a lack of understanding of refugees–they’re not refugees because you can do good background checks, for starters–are going to be refugees themselves. No great shakes for everyone else, but when you ignore basic rules of conduct, it’s the people who you’re trying to “help” who catch it in the shorts worst of all. See also “BLM”.
