Fast and Furious became public in no small part because the govt outsourced the distribution of illegal arms to private contractors/FFLs. Bureaucracies like to control things portal to portal. It would be much easier and more efficient for the govt to directly purchase and distribute guns to terrorists(Paris) and narcotrafficantes. What’s the likelihood that those massive quantities of guns and ammunition the govt has been purchasing over the last 7 years are still in govt possession? I think a govt wide audit is more than appropriate.
