A gun-free zone denies effective self-defense which jeopardizes the right to life; it is an unjust law.
The classical philosophers from St. Augustine and Abraham Lincoln through Thoreau, Martin Luther King and Gandhi agree we have a moral duty to disobey unjust laws.
Turns out, guns are common on that Oregon college campus despite the gun-free policy. Lots of classical philosophers there. Good for them!
Wonder how long before someone complains that students who carry on campus make others feel “unsafe” so the school must expel them?

How long before the Supreme Court finds a right in the Constitution to a gun free environment? Would that be harder for them to do than finding a right for Charley to marry Fred? Or a right to privacy that covers killing your unborn child but no other aspect of you life?
Guns are common there because the school bans guns “except where prohibited by law”, which in Oregon and with a CCP isn’t at a community college. Oregon is reliably stupid on a vast majority of leftist things, but apparently not on this.
