Rule Of Men
By Mitch Berg
joe Doakes from Como Park emails:
A federal judge said the President lacks the constitutional power to enact his amnesty scheme, and enjoined it.
The Federal Court of Appeals held there was little chance the government could prevail on the merits of its case, and upheld the injunction.
The government chose not to appeal that decision. The injunction stands.
The President derides the individual federal judge who issued the injunction, failing to mention the Court of Appeals’ finding that the government’s case was a loser.
In Minnesota, it’s a violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct to engage in conduct that’s prejudicial to the administration of justice. I believe Minnesota lawyers have been sanctioned for verbally attacking judges, because that conduct brings the entire judicial system into disrepute. Too bad that level of cordiality doesn’t apply outside our borders.

Remember when people said Obama’s purported background as a “constitutional scholar” was a stellar qualification for the job? And I responded that the president needs to know no more about the Constitution that a good policeman does – in other words, “follow it”.
Being right all the time is getting tiresome.
No it isn’t. Just scary.

Unfortunately, the zombies that vote Democrap and the mainstream media propaganda machine, has everyone convinced that Obama is a “constitutional lawyer” blah, blah, blah, but he has never proven it. With the fact that the Dems have spent millions keeping his college transcripts sealed, creating fake birth announcements and certificates, the Kenyan Klown has been created to serve left wing purposes. Someone, most likely the Iranian born Valerie Jarrett, is using him as a puppet.
Had a GOP president, let alone a presidential candidate, attempt what this disaster of a POTUS has perpetrated on 48% of the voting public (the other 3% that got him the 2012 election, don’t count because they don’t exist), the media would have gotten those records and exposed them.

This “constitutional law professor” president has a lot of his policies found unconstitutional. He is a !@#$ idiot. There is a reason why he left he never clerked for a SC judge (as most HL presidents have), and there is a reason that he went to work at a Black law firm in Chicago, and there is a reason that he left the law to go into politics. He just ain’t that bright.

Now the question is this; given that it is claimed that he’s already given a million or so invalid visas, do those get revoked? I think the answer ought to be yes.

Has there ever been a nation in history that has allowed open borders? Where anyone who wants to can just walk in and stay?

The Dems, and Chamber of Commerce Republicans, love to say that Americans show majority support for a “path to citizenship” for people who have broken our laws and entered our country illegally, and work, and collect public benefits in our country illegally (and there are many Democrats who would like to see me put in jail for simply writing that sentence).
Don’t you love the phrase “path to citizenship?” Democrats hear it and strike out the first two words, because they know that a “path to citizenship” means “citizenship”. Conservatives and centrists too often hear “path to citizenship” and think that citizenship will be conditional.
They are delusional.
There will be no “going to the back of the line.”
There will be no “paying a fine.”
There will be no “paying back taxes.”
Can you actually imagine some politician supporting the deportation of any class of illegal alien?
It would be great if some clever pollster randomly sampled the response of real American citizens to to giving illegals a “path to citizenship” versus “citizenship.” Cuz brother, “citizenship” is what they will get.

I wonder if we settle the illegals in white liberal neighborhoods, have their schools overwhelmed by poor people who don’t speak English, their specialist clinics swamped by illegals who have no money and no insurance, etc, I wonder how they would feel about open borders then?
I mean, these are the people who regulate the size of the sign and what kind of light bulbs you can have on your storefront. I say it is time for high density, low income housing on Summit Ave and the Kenwood neighborhood.

I think it’s time to start a non-profit to fund scholarships to send poor, immigrant kids to Blake, Breck, Saint Paul Academy and Cretin.

Don’t forget Punahou, Mitch! Make sure they get some kids from El Salvador that they’re afraid may be vulnerable to joining M13.

I think it would be nice to build housing for illegals on Phyllis Kahn’s island.

“He just ain’t that bright”
Yeah, but he’s articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.
That’s storybook, Mingo.
