Somehow I am guessing that the government is going to try to make this choice for us. And hilarious that Google could not apparently figure out that to avoid being rear-ended, you start pressing the rakes gently. Perhaps too many of their designers ride the bus to work?

They’re coming.

If they can’t herd us into buses and trains, maybe this is their next mission. It wouldn’t be that hard to start slowly removing the choices of where and when to go.
“Welcome Dave, please select your destination”
“Bayside Grill, Excelsior”
“I’m sorry, that restaurant is too far away. Would you prefer Crave – West End. or something closer to downtown?”
*doors lock*
“Please make your choice soon, we will depart for downtown Minneapolis in 30 seconds”
“HEY WAIT! I’m not ready to leave yet! And that’s not where I want to go! Open the damn doors!”
“I’m sorry, Dave. I’m afraid I can’t do that.”
