  1. What the Clintons did is okay because we can insinuate that Republicans sorta kinda do the same thing, just without the whole Secretary of State aspect.
Gotta love the media. My personal favorite is the end of the article,
“The foundation has acknowledged errors but vowed to improve its transparency and accountability.”
See, it’s just fine because they promise to do better. Ignore the results and focus solely on the stated goals.

  2. Actually I am surprised this is getting as much attention as it does in MSM. As we saw in 2008, dark skin trumps being a woman. (but being a homosexual trumps all). So perhaps being a white gal doesn’t give you total immunity even if you are a Democrat.

  3. Chuck, haven’t you heard the rumors about Huma? (sorry, couldn’t resist)

Seriously, if all the bums have challenged ethics, throw the bums out. It should not be that difficult to conclude that if you’re in the position of making decisions with multi-billion dollar implications, you don’t take donations from those affected. Period.

  4. I was actually a little surprised when the Clintons did not have Obama offed in ’08. They will not make that mistake again. Although it will also not be necessary.
She has gender politics on her side. Race politics beat it last time, but there is nothing comparable this time around. A gay guy could maybe pull it off, but I think we will have to wait until ’24 for that.

  5. You were thinking the Clintons would have killed Mr. Soetoro, Emery?

  6. Just playing to the crowd. ;^)

Which crowd is that? Or have you filled the Mitchell Corn Palace with straw men again?

  7. The strategy to ‘soften’ up HRC crowd. I wholeheartedly expect the ‘Whitewater’ card to be played in the not too distant future as the current Benghazi dust-up is a tongue in cheek approach for far right conservatives and fringe base supporters who think irony is what an elephant’s tusk is made out of.

Nobody has any chance against her. Anyone who suggests otherwise is trying to distract you into watching advertisements. She’s at just under 80% of being the nominee. I personally believe it’s closer to 100%. Interestingly she is still trading at under 50% to be the next President. I personally believe that is also closer to 100%.

The Republican side is harder to call. It’s probably Jeb Bush, but Rubio and Walker are still in the running. Rand would be awesome but will never happen. The only sensible one of the lot, and this is difficult given how excellent his father was and how breathtakingly inadequate his brother was, seems to be Jeb Bush. And I don’t just say this because I find American conservatism too loud, crass, boorish and lowbrow for me, or because a Bush v Clinton: The Sequel election is a must-have. Because he seems like the only one who might be a moderate president.

You are a babe in the woods, Emery.
The attacks on Hillary originate in the White House. Obama does not want to see a Clinton take his place.

  9. “And I don’t just say this because I find American conservatism too loud, crass, boorish and lowbrow for me…”

Oddly enough, I didn’t even bother looking for the source Emery might have plagiarized that thought from; that kind of smug, mind blowing irony is hired coded, a kind of BIOS for the vestigial organs leftists use for brains.

  11. I don’t know that the attacks originate at the White House. If Obama wants to prevent Hillary from living there, all he has to do is prosecute her for destroying official government records. It’s pretty much a slam dunk. Why not?

Except that she would retaliate and talk about what SHE saw in the most corrupt administration in history, I’m guessing.

  12. Hillary doesn’t even lie with particular conviction. Bill is just a sleazy worm, but Hillary is genuinely corrupt. None of which matters. She will be the next President because she is running on the 100% unbeatable platform of not having a penis.

If I hate one woman in particular, does that make me a misogynist?
    Just wondering.

That would reflect poorly on the Obama administration. The attacks on Hillary from the left are orchestrated by the WH. There are many, many people on the Left who consider the Clintons’ embrace of welfare reform and bank deregulation to be a betrayal of the liberal cause. Obama is among them.

  14. If you’re right, PM, that would be one of the first things Obama has done that I would agree with.

I think Obama got elected on about the same criteria that Emery suggests will propel Hilliary into the White House. Just sayin’. But I think Bill is genuinely corrupt, too, just smoother about his deceptions.

    Carly Fiorina

  16. Right you are Smiley! Although you neglected (chose not) to mention Ms. Fiorina’s business credentials. Hewlett–Packard was once a respected science and technology giant…now it is a technology midget that will soon be extinct. Ms. Fiorina made critical decisions that drove Hewlett–Packard onto life support. There is nothing redeeming or useful she can offer..

  17. Emery, do you think that Hillary is as inevitable as she was in January, 2008?

  18. Well, Ms. Fiorina has good company in Mrs. Clinton then, doesn’t she? Except it’s not just HP that she put on life support, but rather all diplomacy and the reputation of our nation.

Besides, Fiorina presided over the aftermath of the Agilent spinoff, the Clinton recessions/popping of tech bubble, the Compaq acquisition, and a contentious relationship with William Hewlett. If you wanted to make someone fail at a job, you could hardly set it up better. Note here that the Compaq acquisition is necessary to what HP is today, and that’s the only thing that Fiorina can actually be blamed for.

Not that I’m in Fiorina’s camp, but honestly…..you’ve got to stop getting your information from the likes of USA Today, Emery.

  19. Le it be noted that EmeryTheAntisemiticSoci@list is refuting a fact that Carly Fiorina does not have a penis as per his 100% claim inevitability claim and subsequent misdirecftion and obfuscation.

  21. BB: Funny that Fiorina should question whether Hillary Clinton (who is not one of my heroes) has any accomplishments. This is the woman who nearly destroyed Hewlett–Packard in her egomaniacal drive to show just how “smart” she was. It was left to the much maligned (and late lamented) Pattie Dunn to begin to repair the damage left behind by Fiorina, who is the very picture of the modern narcissist.

  22. Cheer up big Guy and turn that frown upside down!
    Ms. Fiorina does have balls.

  23. Yes, Emery, because when a company fires three CEOs in six years, what we absolutely don’t do is take a look at the board of directors, and their intrigues, as a possible culprit.

Honestly, you have got to start doing some thinking for yourself instead of just taking reports at face value. Fiorina has some jerkwater moments–like forcing fired employees to train their replacements–but again, you’ve got three CEOs in a row fired in acrimonious circumstances. So either the BOD hired problems, or created problems, but in the end….

  24. It’s all irrelevant. Florina, Carson etc.. have an Inhofe’s chance in hell of being nominated. I suspect it’ll come down to; Walker, Rubio or Bush. Governor John Kasich is my personal favorite though I would have to acknowledge his odds as well.
