The Closer
By Mitch Berg
I’ve always liked Curt Schilling.
Partly because he was a great pitcher, instrumental in breaking the Red Sox’ World Series curse.
Partly because he’s one of very few baseball players to come out of the closet as a conservative.
And partly because he opened a can of medieval online whoopass on some internet creeps who tried to professorbilly his daughter online.
Some Twin Cities leftybloggers might be feeling the heat. Just saying.

Curt and his lovely daughter were on Fox news this morning via clip from Sean Hannity’s show talking about this. Mr. Schilling gets my Democrat vote (both hands raised) for father of the year.
That said, I would venture a guess here by stating this is the exact way that any of us that contribute on this blog would handle miscreants that bully our daughters.

Very true.
One particularly stupid, venial blogger made threats to involve a family member in their little fantasy. They have no idea the world of hurt that awaited them had they gone through with it.

“Professorbilly” as a verbification. That, is some true genius, right there, I tells ya.
