Man, I’m conflicted. On the one hand, I don’t see how this is going to be a bad thing for consumers. On the other, Al Franken and Hakim X Ellison are wetting themselves with joy, which means there HAS to be a downside.
SITD is read by some pretty smart fellas. Please educate me.

Instead of having the opportunity to make speed and throughput decisions based on profit, they will now be required to base those decisions on volatile political desires. So expect both profits and innovation to decline.
