Obama has adopted the Bush Doctrine.
I think it’s more a matter of him reverting to form for Democrats. Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton broke with the 20th century Democrat tradition of getting the US involved in wars overseas.
Obama has dived back into that trough, whole hog.
