  1. Buzzfeed. Where one goes when he has excess brain cells to rid himself of.
The problem for Republicans sharing my attitude toward Buzzfeed: Given the hyped popularity of social phenomena such as: any marriage between same-sex couples is superior to all marriages between opposite sex people; ‘Snapchat’; and pretty much all the original programming on HBO (like ‘Girls’), Republicans will never be able to convince the millenials that they are ‘hip’ unless they have a working knowledge of these phenomena and embrace them. Saying that Buzzfeed is for ‘teh’ stupid is a sign to a millenial that you are just ‘lame’ and they are proud to pay ten times more for less quality health insurance.

I’m not certain of that, Seflores. They might believe that their vote made OTHER PEOPLE WHO THEY DON’T KNOW pay ten times more for worse insurance. People are usually pretty good at figuring out what benefits or hurts them, personally. They are also very good at ignoring costs shifted onto others. There is an entire political party based on that second idea.

I have been amused by reports from our media betters that it’s okay that a new insurance policy purchased through an Obamacare exchange is more costly because when the website hets fixed, the insured will find out how much of a subsidy they will be getting.

  4. If you wrote this into the script of a TeeVee show or Youtube video, they’d say you were crazy (cray-cray for you millenials) right wingnut Rethuglican who hopes this President and by extension country fails…

Closed circuit, er, uh DM to you millenials: The website that tipped me to this story noted that learning about what is in Obama-Care is like peeling an onion of fail & AIDS – whatever that means.

  5. Do you know that when Obama, Reid, and Pelosi get together to watch reruns of The Dukes of Hazzard, they think that Boss Hogg and Sheriff Rosco Coltrane are the good guys?
