Doakes Sunday: Heeeeere’s Meadowlark!
By Mitch Berg
Joe Doakes from Como Park emails:
The House Stenographer was hauled away when Republicans were voting to cave in, shouting about God and Freemasons. Apparently, she’s had enough.
I know just how she feels.
The Washington Generals always lose to the Harlem Globetrotters but at least they play the whole game, they don’t quit and start high-fiving each other. I wonder where I can get some Washington Generals jerseys to send to Boehner, Cantor, McCain . . . .

Some days, being a Republican feels like being an offensive lineman for Cumberland College.

I don’t doubt that people of faith are ‘touched’ by God at times. Although most people who heard voices during the last 2,000 years did so after eating grain products with ergot mold growing on them. ;^)

The poor woman seems to have some type of mental illness, most likely not related to her job. Fortunately she didn’t have her break at a time when she could have caused others harm. May God help her and her family. A lot of us will have some connection to something like this at some point in our lives. Lets hope that we aren’t the ones having the problem.

There’s more to the story than the stenographer being off her meds, a religious fanatic or having a mental breakdown. The video that the MSM is running was clearly doctored.
