It Worked So Well Last Year

By Mitch Berg

Joe Doakes from Como Park emails:

That wasn’t a mass shooting in Chicago, it was a gang war. Coming soon to a neighborhood near you, as soon as the high-speed rail line is completed.

“Senseless and brazen acts of violence have no place in Chicago and betray all that we stand for,” Mayor Rahm Emanuel said Friday. “The perpetrators of this crime will be brought to justice and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I encourage everyone in the community to step forward with any information and everyone in Chicago to continue their individual efforts to build stronger communities where violence has no place.”

Pretty much exactly what President Obama said about Benghazi. That didn’t turn out so well for us either.

Perhaps liberals will call for better gun control in Kenya as a solution to Islamic terrorism. :^)

  2. Night Writer Says:

Silly, guns aren’t allowed on the light rail.

    Ring! Ring!
“Chicago 911. What is the nature of your emergency?”
“Help! There’s a bunch of guns down here shooting people!”

  4. mnbubba Says:

Given that it was (apparently) a gang-related dispute, wouldn’t it qualify as “workplace violence”?

  5. Powhatan Mingo Says:

    mnbubba-
    Get with the program!
Not unless there was a muslim man screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’ as he shot down innocent men, women, and children.
Also, terrorism is now used only to describe the people’s House voting to defund Obamacare.

I thought domestic terrorists were White male Christian gun-owners?

You could get that, Nate, but I’d recommend paying the extra $19.95 to get “Emanuel Goldstein” status.

  8. Powhatan Mingo Says:

And an extra minute of hate if you are a “flabby, crabby white man”.

NW, given that the light rail is owned by the state, under what legal justification do they ban them? I had thought the MPPA had this covered.

If you’re right, of course, it’s yet another reason not to ride, not that we needed it.

Let’s see if MSM picks up on this. Nah, facts that don’t support libturd narrative are just fantasy.

An Ex-Royal Marine with a handgun saved 100 people as Islamists attacked the Kenyan Westgate Mall. According to the Daily Mail, the former Marine was having coffee with friends in Westgate Mall when the attack began. Armed only with his handgun, he immediately began gathering people and getting them out of the building.
One of his friends said, “He went back inside twelve times and saved 100 people. Imagine going back in when you knew what was going on inside.”

The hero with a handgun is a former Royal Marine who now lives in Kenya, but he cannot be identified for security reasons.

Anyone else think that the US connection to this incident will also involve the origin of the firearms used by the bad guys? Now that Kerry is pimping for the UN weapons grab, such a connection would be great news and well worth the lives lost.
