A Government Of Rogues

Joe Doakes from Como Park emails:

Rogue IRS Agents targeted conservatives.

Rogue low-level AFT agents in Phoenix ran machine guns to Mexican drug lords.

What does it say about the leadership, when low-level employees feel emboldened to break the law while on the clock?

Best case scenario:  When the cat’s away, the mice will play.  It could be the underlings ran amuck from lack of leadership.

Worst case scenario:  There’s a new sheriff in town.  It could be the underlings did exactly as they were told.

Why, it’s almost like they’re having a big party over there.

  1. Good stuff Joe! As a matter of fact I read your previous post on this topic as well. Just for good measure, I did a quick check on the ‘front page’ of the WSJ, WaPo and the NYT. I could not find one article about the IRS or even this breaking story you’re bringing us. Maybe it was hidden on the inside somewhere.

Sadly, SiTD’s TMZ Division is one of its more serious-minded outfits.

  2. What is this breaking story you are referring to Emery? Fast and Furious has been around for years.

  3. When looking at multiple groups in the same “company” doing the same thing wrong, the problem is usually found where the chains of command meet. So if here we have multiple departments taking apparently unilateral action that victimizes the boss’ political opponents, the culprit is the boss.

DOJ, EPA, BATF, IRS, State, etc…..do the math.

  4. Emery, you seriously can’t find information about Fast and Furious or about the IRS 501(c)(4) scandal?

    Your Google-fu is weak.
