Not Much Blogging Today

By Mitch Berg

It’s going to be a busy, crazy, and fraught day.

Nonspecific (for the moment) prayers, karmic imprecations ori other best wishes acceptable to your worldview are eagerly solicited.

UPDATE 1:50PM – They were answered. It was “yes”. Thanks, everyone (even you, Penigma. 🙂

Indeed, that’s one of the lessons of this fracas; you never know where your friends are going to come from.

More later, once I sort it all out.

That’s very enigmatic, isn’t it?

I really hope it doesn’t have anything to do with the”A Few Questions” below. Especially as I have teenagers and know what teenagers, no adults at home, and cops at the door can involve, especially if the teenagers didn’t want the cops inside. *shakes head* I believe that rational thought turns off around 13 and doesn’t begin to reboot until around 16.

Best wishes and prayers on their way.

I got your back, dawg!! 🙂

Whatever’s going on, you certainly have my best wishes, whatever efficacy they may have.

  4. penigma Says:

Best wishes Mitch – hope things aren’t terrible – all politics aside, let me know if you need a hand.

  5. Badda Says:

Yeah, because Precious Peev the OCD knows legal folks and lawyers and stuff.

You didn’t get busted with a large bucket of urine, did you?

    Badda,

As usual, you prove your own venal nature by inserting yourself into a covnversation you are unwelcome, unneeded and unproductive in entering into. I’ve known Mitch more than 20 years, and I can freely offer whatever I choose. Given that both Mitch and I have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that in order to practice law, you probably should actually have a law degree – I think no further words are necessary – certainly not from you – and we sure as hell don’t need your self-indicting prigishness in what was ostensibly a serious offer by all of us. What is the matter with you that you need to impart hatred so viscerally upon even well-intentioned acts?

Take a lesson from Mitch, or, failing that, have some freaking self-respect, you’re making yourself look like scum. No, really. If anyone has OCD, I’m banking on you – you seem incapable of letting even my now very infrequent remarks go by without insisting upon proving you have NOTHING of value to add. Troll isn’t sufficient – perhaps ear mite would be more apt.

Hmm… I guess I’ve become a bit thick skulled over the last 24 hours, & hadn’t realized anything was wrong. I’ll blame it on 12 hours of State Fair in the summer heat.

I hope all is going fine for you, Mitch, & I’ve put in a word on your behalf with The Big Guy!

Every once in a while, somebody asks a hypothetical legal question that has no relationship, whatsoever, to something going on in his life. Every once in a while.

    ??Two paragraphs peeve??

What gives….are you feeling under the weather, li’l fella?

    Be Well…

  15. Mr. D Says:

The details can be as enigmatic as you choose to make them be, but I’m glad to know things are okay. But prayers will continue….

    Best,
    Mr. D

  16. Terry Says:

    Peev-
You seem to think ‘venal’ is related to the word ‘vane’. To be venal means that you can be bought. It comes from the latin word for ‘selling’.
If you really meant ‘venal’ your comment re Badda makes no sense.

Anyone use the Google browser (Chrome) yet?

    http://www.google.com/chrome/

Worth checking out if you don’t mind beta software on your Windows machine. *shrug*

  18. Badda Says:

    Terry,
All of comments from Precious Peev (the original OCD) make no sense… and his ability to see hatred everywhere.
    lol

  19. Mr. Shirt Says:

    Guys,

I like to nail Peevish as much as next guy, but this is not the thread to do it. He offered Mitch support in a time of need, Mitch thanked him, & Peev noted that politics aside, he wished Mitch well. Not sure why he got bashed at that point.

In this case, this case only, I can actually see Peev’s point.

  20. Troy Says:

    *sings*
    You’re so venal
You probably can be bought for a dollar
    You’re so venal (so venal!)
I bet you’d sell us out and then holler
    Wouldn’t you, wouldn’t you
    Wouldn’t yoooouuuuu!
    *bows*

Oh, and bloggers (and perhaps everyone else) might not want to use Chrome:

I hope the “yes” was what I think the “yes” was for. Congrats. Long time commin’.
