   Listening to McCain’s introduction to her. Her background is interesting. Parent was a teacher, husband and other relatives are union members. Sportsman (sportslady?). Kind of a female Pawlenty.

   Interesting pick, tactically and in all other ways. Having watched her introduction by McCain, I don’t feel half as bad about this as I initially did. She’s actually a compelling speaker; she shows some life that McCain doesn’t.
   Here’s to having an optimistic outlook about this. So far, I like her better than I like McCain!
