Fearless Biden Predictions
By Mitch Berg
After his little allusion to slavery, Biden’s next campaign speeches will, I predict, eventually include:
“If we’re going to beat the GOP hate machine, we’re going to have to step on the gas. Before the Republicans turn on the gas. Zyklon B” – speech to Jewish Federations of America convention.
“Beating the GOP hate machine is going to involve digging deep. Like when you’re trying to exhume an unidentified corpse from a crime scene” – remarks the Jacob Wetterling Foundation
“If Romney thinks he can balance the budget without raising taxes, he’s all wet. Like you will be after he pushes you across the Rio Grande” – speech to Latino Democrat Association gathering.
Remember when they called Dan Quayle dumb?

Hey, now, show some respect. This is the man Democrats feel is most qualified to be A Heartbeat Away From The Presidency.
At least Sarah Palin would have been easy to look at. This guy looks like the standard-issue Corporate Executive Bad Guy in any Hollywood movie. His dialogue is even worse.

“B-b-b-b-but Sarah Palin!!! Mitt Romney tied his dog to the top of the car!! Faux News! Koch Brothers! Did you hear me? KOCH BROTHERS!!!”
August 16th, 2012 at 9:36 am
I’m still waiting for the Star-Tribune to report on Obama’s “57 states” comment.
Or yesterday’s shooting in DC………GLBTQIXWP activist goes into a Christian lobby groups office and shots the guard (who then tacked him). The St Paul paper article on it…page 10….you have to wait until the 7th paragraph to read that the shooting is a gay-rights activist. And even at that, it is really downplayed (“he volunteered at….”).

But Mitch, you also have to affect the dialect of the supposed audience as well. This would involve a bit of Yiddish with the Jewish Federation and rolling the R’s (ala NPR) at the Latino
August 16th, 2012 at 10:11 am
Biden, speaking before a group of American Indians: “We’ll give you more opportunities for advancement than a undertaker at Little Big Horn.”
August 16th, 2012 at 10:16 am
Ehh, what happened there? Posted without my wanting to post yet.
… rolling the R’s (ala NPR) at the Latino Demo gathering. I mean if you are going to drop into a supposed Black dialect (that’s “Negro” for you, Dingy Harry) at a gathering of Black people, the least you could do is adopt the dialect of your audience regarding whomever you are speaking to. Remember Hillary, the white bread Park Ridge princess affecting a slave dialect when speaking in a ‘black’ church?
PS: Chuck – Give them credit. At least they noted that someone was wounded in the shooting. When Lefties assualted Republican supporters then tried to storm the stage at a Ryan speech in Iowa, it was reported that Ryan was “heckled” at the gathering. Baby steps, baby steps…
August 16th, 2012 at 10:33 am
A shooting in D.C.?! Impossible! After all, guns are banned in that burg. Oh, wait, the nut job was from VA, claimed to have purchased said gun legally and imported it to D.C. to commit his hate crime. That explains everything.

You don’t even have to make this up. It’s daily event.

This is unfortunate. Romney doesn’t want to disclose his financials, and neither does the MN Republican party? Seems to be a trend.
From a top Republican official, who tried to organize (Minnesota Republicans for Financial Accountability and Justice, LLC) the forensic accounting analysis:
“We have been told by confidential sources in the RPM that a small number of major donors were afraid that a forensic audit would possibly uncover additional misappropriations of party funds and thus cause additional embarrassment to the party image prior to the November 2012 elections. One must conclude that the RPM believes it has more scandals to hide from the public. We fear their actions will result in the voters of Minnesota holding all Republican candidates accountable in November.”

Sanity,
TJ:iwp
(Threadjack. Ignored with prejudice)
(I mean, really. Fascinating stuff. So much more interesting than “are you better off than you were four years ago?”, right?)
August 16th, 2012 at 12:13 pm
I like puppies.
August 16th, 2012 at 1:22 pm
sanity, what were Obama’s grades like in College? What did he write while Editor of Harvard Law Review? Who were the radicals he hung out with in college?
But more importantly, why isn’t the press even moderately interested in the President’s past?
August 16th, 2012 at 1:32 pm
Why did Obama appoint a tax cheat to oversee the IRS?
August 16th, 2012 at 1:37 pm
“are you better off than you were four years ago?”
I’m better off than I was four years ago, and even two years ago.
DOW was around 8200 when Obama took office. As I post it is at 13,265.
My investments have soared in value under the Obama administration. Four more years, please.
August 16th, 2012 at 1:39 pm
what were Romney’s grades like in College? What did he write while Editor of Harvard Law Review? Oh, wait, Romney didn’t earn that position.
Who were the radicals Romney hung out with in college?
August 16th, 2012 at 2:04 pm
It used to be that Democrats hated Wall Street success. After they became Barry’s number one donors, Wall Street is now how the Democrats measure whether or not the country is successful. Do you understand how this works now, Wingnuts?
August 16th, 2012 at 2:26 pm
jpmn asks, likely rhetorically,
sanity, what were Obama’s grades like in College? What did he write while Editor of Harvard Law Review? Who were the radicals he hung out with in college?
To which “Sanity” replies,
what were Romney’s grades like in College? What did he write while Editor of Harvard Law Review? Oh, wait, Romney didn’t earn that position.
Who were the radicals Romney hung out with in college?
We can now surmise that “Sanity” is
• Channeling Pee-Wee Herman
• As shallow as the wading pool at Waite Park in Nordeast (and significantly more brackish)
• A minor intellect and a major threadjacker
August 16th, 2012 at 2:55 pm
Threadjacker, I think. Or maybe an idiot. Maybe both?
Romney has run for president x2, run the olympics, been governor of an important state on the East Coast, and been a successful venture capitalist. His father was governor of Michigan, secretary of HUD, and ran AMC for a few years.
“Sanity” wonders just who is this mysterious, unvetted fellow named “Mitt Romney”.
“Sanity” also does not seem to understand how the editors and the president of HLR are selected, or why a person interested in a business career would not follow the same academic path as someone interested in becoming a lawyer or a judge.
We do know that Obama benefitted from affirmative action at Harvard (he’s admitted it in writing).
We do know Romney did not benefit from affirmative action at BYU, Harvard, or Bain capital.
Romney did “build that”.
Obama did not “build that”.
August 16th, 2012 at 2:56 pm
what were Romney’s grades like in College?
The media has dug out his HIGH SCHOOL grades. Give us a break.
And in any case, he’s not running as The Smartest President Ever.
What did he write while Editor of Harvard Law Review? Oh, wait, Romney didn’t earn that position.
a) Going to Harvard, much less law school, is far from the dispositive indicator of merit.
b) One of the theories is that Obama’s failure to release any sort of college transcripts might be proof that Obama didn’t “earn” the position, either.
Who were the radicals Romney hung out with in college?
You got evidence? Bring it.
But you never, ever do, do you?
August 16th, 2012 at 2:59 pm
I vote for “As shallow as the wading pool at Waite Park in Nordeast (and significantly more brackish)”.
August 16th, 2012 at 3:25 pm
Sanity said:
“My investments have soared in value under the Obama administration. Four more years, please.”
And yet I’m sure it’s Sanitys political opponents who are “greedy” and “selfish” when convenient. I guess I vote for shallow as well. 😉
August 16th, 2012 at 4:05 pm
Barak Obama didn’t earn the editorship of the Harvard Law Review. He was “appointed” to that position – the first time it ever happened.
Can you say “Affirmative Action” class?
But Sanity’s point is a good one – Romney failed to disclose his taxes, so the GLBT left is justified in shooting Conservatives until we get defensive. And everyone knows the best defense is a good offense which, under the Obama Administrative, is also known as pre-emptive kinetic action.
With all that “war” talk, I conclude Sanity recommends Conservatives start shooting GLBTs. Okay, if that’s what it takes to respect their diversity, I guess I can help out a bit. That was his point, right? Sometimes it’s hard to tell.

August 16th, 2012 at 4:12 pm
ok… back to the issue everyone. I have my minions/trolls etc out in full force today and the rumor (soon to be substanisiated as fact) is that Obammy asked, no begged and pleeded, Hillary to come on the ticket but she in all essence said, “fuck you I’m running in 2016” and stormed out of there. WH aides say they hadn’t seen her this pissed since Bill admitted to lying about the BJ monica gave him (not so much that he did it but that he lied about it, remember he’s been cheating on her since the day after they married). So essentially O is stuck with foot in mouth Biden. There are rumors they are trying to build a Biden robot to sit in for him during the VP debate, the campaign is scared to death about putting him on a podium against Ryan.
August 16th, 2012 at 4:14 pm
“Sanity’s” portfolio has done well the past four years, whilst 8+ percent of America has been unemployed for 42 straight months.
Oh well, you gotta break a few eggs so “Sanity” can sit and smile at the DOW like some dewy-eyed Justin Bieber fan.
August 16th, 2012 at 4:43 pm
“My investments have soared in value under the Obama administration. Four more years, please.”
Yet, I’ll bet that you have donated any of that money to any charities, have you?
Obviously, claims from an anonymous keyboard, especially from the likes of you, Sanity, are akin to getting poll numbers from the Humphrey Institute.
August 16th, 2012 at 4:49 pm
Crap, I missed an opportunity. Insanity insinuated what were Romney’s grades like in College? What did he write while Editor of Harvard Law Review? Oh, wait, Romney didn’t earn that position.
But George W. Bush did earn a degree from Harvard. He earned a MBA from Harvard. Gotta love unintentional irony. Harvard, where the smart Presidents went to school.
August 16th, 2012 at 7:20 pm
“Yet, I’ll bet that you have donated any of that money to any charities, have you?”
Yes. Nearly all will go to a charity I’ve already chosen and am working with, when I die.
August 16th, 2012 at 7:23 pm
“Gotta love unintentional irony. Harvard, where the smart Presidents went to school.”
FDR and JFK were also graduates of Harvard, as well as John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Rutherford Hayes, and Theodore Roosevelt.
August 16th, 2012 at 7:25 pm
“Sanity’s” portfolio has done well the past four years, whilst 8+ percent of America has been unemployed for 42 straight months.”
Jobs lag coming out of a recession. Jobs are always the last to recover.
August 16th, 2012 at 7:54 pm
Jobs lag? Really? You’re going to go with that, huh? 42 straight months is a “lag.” Just lagging, dontcha know? Nothing like a 3.5 year lag.
I’ve used this on other mind droolers, Sanity, but if you were any more obtuse, you’d be a triangle.
August 16th, 2012 at 8:21 pm
“Jobs lag? Really? You’re going to go with that, huh? 42 straight months is a “lag.” Just lagging, dontcha know? Nothing like a 3.5 year lag.”
Well, what I really wanted to go with is this, but it’s scarier to acknowledge and talk about:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Structural_change
Huge structural change. Globalization/post-industrial.
August 16th, 2012 at 8:28 pm
In other words, a complete change in topic, with a lame Wikipedia link.
At this point you’re competing with Donald Duck when it comes to your “sanity.”
August 17th, 2012 at 3:45 am
That’s pathetic.
I guess the takeaway is that THIS IS NOT OBAMA’S FAULT
Along with THE ECONOMY IS DOING GREAT
The structural change began in the 80’s and 90’s. Most real US GDP growth has been in the service sector. You may think that means things like dog-walking and tourism, but in fact the increase in GDP since 2000 has mostly come from financial services, i.e., the evil banks, insurance companies, and investment houses.
How do we rev up the economy? I am dead certain Obama hasn’t got a clue. He knows nothing about economics or how the private sector works.
I may not have the answer either, but I am dead certain that paying more money for energy isn’t it.
August 17th, 2012 at 6:32 am
Great points, Terry.
The Commie Cabal isn’t done yet. There is credible evidence that GM is headed for another financial cliff. Rumors in the auto industry (to which I am pretty well connected) seem to indicate that they are close to bankruptcy. In fact, their stock is down over 10 bucks a share since August 2010. However, with the two morons Obumbler and Biden using the “success of GM” as one of their cornerstone campaign messages, you can bet that they’ll get bailed out, again, on our dime!
Apparently, not enough of the hypocrites on the left are supporting their Dear Leader by buying Government Motors vehicles and are still buying their Suburus.
August 17th, 2012 at 6:37 am
“Yes. Nearly all will go to a charity I’ve already chosen and am working with, when I die.”
Very charitable of you and very typical of your ilk. Let everyone else pay for it for now, huh?
I wonder if all of the non-union employees of Delphi that got screwed by your heroes have your same views of the economy?
You loser lefties are all about fairness, equality and compromise, until it is you that have to be fair, equal and compromising. A pathetic lot you all are.
