Fixing The Past, Winning The Future
By Mitch Berg
Talk about timely.
On the Northern Alliance on Saturday, I’ll be interviewing the new chairman of the Republican Party of Minnesota, Pat Shortridge.
We will, naturally, be taking calls. If you have questions of the new chair, by all means tune in and call in.

totally off topic, but I think Mitch and the commenters would appreciate this. NSFW for strong language, but it’s pretty cool.

So Jesse has become the argumentative fellow on the next bar stool who wants to fight you if you if disagree that Jews control the banks or if Ford pickups are better than Chevy pickups. Figures.
I lived in Brooklyn Park in the early 80’s when Ventura and some of the other wresting guys hung out there, mostly at a bar called “Bob’s” or “Bobby’s”, right at about W River Road and 80th (if memory serves). My bartender friend said the WWF crew would order jalapenos and pitchers and make a game of seeing who could eat the most jalapenos before guzzling the pitcher. They would kind of bully the place, but always knew where to draw the line so the police wouldn’t be called.
He didn’t say much about Ventura, but he did say that Bobby Heenan was a dick.
I had girlfriend who once went out with Hulk Hogan. The ex was a model, and she said, with some awe, that Hogan took longer to get ready to go out than she did.

I don’t believe I have the words to articulate my contempt for Jesse Ventura.
Sorry to hijack the post Mitch.

The only thing that Gov. Steroids did that I liked was when he jabbed at the media. I believe that he even had some press credentials revoked for the ones that either misquoted him or he didn’t like. I know that he had several back and forths with that idiot Douggie Grow.
