What’s That Lack Of Sound?

By Mitch Berg

SCENE:  Mitch, watching the morning news and blogging.

MITCH: Hey – what’s that?

MITCH’S AUDIENCE, IN RESPONSE, AS ONE: What’s what?

MITCH: Listen…

MAIRA1: We hear nothing.

MITCH: Exactly.  We’ve gone through an entire local newscast without a single reference to “Occupy Minnesota”‘s antics!

MAIRA1: Wow.  That is weird.

MITCH: Right!?

Meanwhile, the Slime WS in NYC, is causing a small restaurant owner to lay off 21 of his 120 employees due to the significant drop in business. The owner, Marc Epstein, has pleaded with the city to move the police barricades that restrict access to his cafe, but they won’t and don’t care. The city’s response was that they “have to control the crowd.” Still more ignorance and stupidity by libturd Mayor Bloomberg. Epstein doesn’t think that he can last the year if these miscreants aren’t dispersed and sent home. Result; 120 people out of work and years of Epstein’s sacrifices and hard work to realize his American dream down the shitter!

Meanwhile I was amused to see the big spike in STD testing at the local clinic by Zucotti Park. The revolution lives!!!

Rode by the Government Center again this morning about 8:45. Lots of tarps and droopy signs. The largest group I saw, however, was three Hennco deputies talking together near the sidewalk.

Actually this morning’s St Paul has 1/3 of page B1 dedicated to a glowing free advertisement to the slimeball hippys.

We are dealing with mountain-sized piles of idiocy and delusion:
Like so many teenagers, I believed in the “American Dream,” that I could move to New York from the Midwest and become an artist. I would achieve both fame and success, and I would never have to think about money.
