Counter This
By Mitch Berg
Kerry Hogan at Smoothing Plane, preparing for Saturday’s counterprotest, notes:
Arguing with the deranged shows optimism but is futile. The unreasonable do not come to reason through reason. Humor and ridicule, that’s the ticket.
He’s also got some ideas for signs.

I’m trying to figure out if my sign, “40 More Years!” would be more appropriate at the protest, the counter-protest, or the counter-counter-protest.

I think “40 more beers” would be appropriate at the protest.

Mitch, thanks for the nod, I appreciate it. Here’s a couple more:
“Of course you want US out of Iraq. Our guys are slaughtering your guys”
“Anti-War = Anti-Victory” “The Iraq War…? We’re winning! Get over it.”
I think signs like these show the left for what and who they are. As the Protest Warrior sign says, “Not anti-war, but on the other side.” And I think any dialogue with the deranged can be ended with laughter. For example, reply to the trope, “Al Queda is only in Iraq because we are” with “Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha”. The left hates to be laughed at; they take their feelings so seriously. I believe it was Sir Thomas More who said, “The Devil, that proud spirit, cannot stand to be mocked.” Heh. Thanks a

Mitch, thanks for the nod, I appreciate it. Here’s a couple more for any and all:
“Of course you want US out of Iraq. Our guys are slaughtering your guys”
“The Iraq war…We’re winning! Get over it”
“Anti-war = Anti-Victory”
I think it unarguable these signs show the truth of the left. And the reply to, “Al Queda is only in Iraq because we are” and any other tropes should be “Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!”

AC, this is not helpful, but of course you are never helpful. You never contribute positively, you never show up (as we know showing up is 80% of success) you simply sit on the sidelines making fun of people who do.
Oh, to save you the trouble, I am well aware that you are my intellectual superior, but that’s not the important aspect here, you have a crippled soul.

If people like you didn’t think that, Angryclown wouldn’t be doing his job, billhedrick.
