I think that it’s funny, too, Mitch!
Of course, I also really like R. Lee Ermey!

Isn’t Chris Christy bringing that skill-set to politics in New Jersey?

C’mon Scott! Do you really want Mad Mark to wet himself?

I think the pants piddling took place as early as back in ’04 when he closed his DC office. Remember this:
“I do so out of extreme, but necessary, precaution to protect the lives and safety of my Senate staff and my Minnesota constituents, who might otherwise visit my office in the next few weeks. I feel compelled to do so, because I will not be here in Washington to share in what I consider to be an unacceptably greater risk to their safety.”
He was the only one of 100 so compelled by imagined events.

I remember discussing that action with a couple of my colleagues and we were just dumbfounded over why he would do that.
I guess that it is just a classic example of him “serving” his constituents by leaving during an imagined crisis. Either that or Harvey was in his office.

Brave, brave Sir Dayton. When danger raised it’s ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled.
