Geek Question
By Mitch Berg
So, hypothetically, if someone wanted to:
- Take a piece of digital video, and…
- …want to remove the audio track, and then…
- …record a new audio track and…
- …dub it onto the video from Step 2
How would one do this?
Leave a comment, and thanks in advance.

If you have Microsoft Moviemaker, import the video, add new audio as new tracks then delete the original tracks.
Any video editing tool will work but a lot of systems have MM pre-installed. Plus it’s really easy to use. Very basic but easy.

Use an exacto knife. With a new blade.

Mitch,
I have access to professional grade digital editing sofware and systems – so it’s no problem whatever you need. We can burn you a professional DVD too if you like. (OR you could do it easily with home equipment.)

Terry,
It occurs to me that I’m one of the few people left in the world that probably remembers how to edit audiotape with a razor blade.
OB,
Thanks! It’s actually not for me – a friend asked, and I figured I’d consult my audience.
Which as usual doesn’t disappoint.
Thanks, all!

1. Cut a hole in a box
2. Put your junk in that box
3. Make her open the box
