I’d not be so harsh. Many of the agents view the other duties of the FBI that they’re assigned as very important.
That said, the agents in DC are a different breed and much more politically involved. It’s always been the case that they *must* deal with political issues given the class of criminals in DC. I suspect that many of them just got inured to the constant politicking and didn’t really appreciate how different thing were under Biden as far as the rest of the country could see. Those agents see this crap all the time and have for decades, but in general it’s been hidden from the public until the Internet allowed the truth to seep out. The Establishment and Establishment Media used to have a monopoly on what could be said. Not anymore.

The thing that strikes me about conspiracy theories is that I’m noticing more and more cases where people who ought to speak up do not. One such event now in current events is where Naval Academy cadets failed to reveal that a key engineering exam had been leaked to hundreds.
Regarding the notion that the 2020 election was stolen, my position is the same as it’s been since then; there were a lot of things done that would lend themselves to vote fraud. However, since we have the Australian (secret) ballot, it’s awfully hard to suss out which votes were fraudulent and correct the problems. The only route we have for redress is to make sure that we don’t have systems that are easily gamed.

Michael Stenger, the scapegoat Senate Sergeant at Arms during the scam, saying on Zoom call that the violent ones were paid actors, but mysteriously dies the day before he was supposed to testify to the kangaroo court.
The list goes on.
