Stay The Curse
By Mitch Berg
Tim Walz is running for Governor again.
The governor who, at best, ignored well over $1B in fraud, set up a snitch line and a badthink database, squandered a $19B surplus, ran one of the most club-footed Covid responses in the country, and supports censoring people like me, wants another go-around.
Even some DFLers have had enough…
…although if Walz doesn’t get the nomination it’ll be because someone to his left beats him.
It’s the law.

Did Norton come on your show?
All of the DFLers will vote for Walz. Will the middle of the road folks?
Will the DFL activists spend time volunteering for Walz?

He knows that if he tries to run for president, he’ll be embarrassed off the stage within minutes in his first candidate debate. Must suck to have to live with that realization hanging over your political ambitions.

The ratios on his Twitter X thread are 100% against him. On HIS page. There’s a sliver of hope

I think before the GOP starts to beat the DFL in this state, we’ve got to start making the case that these things are not just accidents that happened, but are rather the ordinary consequence of the DFL approach to governance. For example, a party that didn’t care that Keith Ellison had been credibly accused of domestic assault, repeatedly lost his drivers license for not paying fines, repeatedly failed to pay income taxes, and a bunch more is not one that is going to look at the same kind of little accountability deals in government contractors, and is not going to police little loopholes in the law, either.
In the same way, a party that never bothered to figure out Tim Walz’s Communist connections is going to keep missing things in governance, too.
