The Democrat mayor of Denver, Mike Johnston, is suddenly a big fan of enumerated powers:
Glad they’re learning to love federalism and separation of powers. It’ll be a great precedent when some other Democrat tinpot tries to do a “Mandatory Gun Buyback”.

Apparently he already “regrets” threatening to use police against the Feds. I can only assume that the police union made a private statement to him about that.

I’m betting that this little tough guy is from California. Notice that he didn’t say that HE would be out there with DPD and 50,000 citizens forcefully protesting. I always love how Communists like him make threats that someone else has to carry out.
I think that he’s messing with the bull in Tom Homan and is going to get the horns, real hard. I’m not sure how willing any of those people are to end up charged with federal crimes.
I’ve heard some internet pundits saying that he’s walking back his tough guy stance.

Born in Oklahoma, grew up in Vail, actually. Just indoctrinated in the Ivy League.
But with regards to separation of powers, yes, but immigration tends to be federal, no? That noted, I think Trump is probably moving too quickly by going to deport all illegals instead of starting with illegals with a serious criminal record. Hizzoner will have a lot more trouble if he’s campaigning to keep rapists and murderers in the country.

Any attempt to prosecute him or punish his state by cutting funding would instantly be struck down by some Hawaiian judge
So don’t punish him, reward him for his noble and courageous stand. Flood the zone by redirecting all migrant caravans, all Texas busses, all Haitian flights, to Denver Until he agrees to help kick them out.
Then round them up and kick them out, since we know where they are, all in one location

I heard a couple of interviews with Trump about prioritizing which invaders to round up invaders and it sounds like the criminals are the first targets.
