I’m Only Human

By Mitch Berg

After being called a “Nazi”, a “misogynist”, a “fascist” and a “Racist”, it’s hard not to indulge in a little schadenfreud

Maybe a lot.

And when God throws an opportunity like this in your way, who am I to argue?

A licenced “poiltical analyst”, last Tuesday before the results started rolling in:

I asked the universe – there has to be an “after” video.

And the universe answered:

In addition to misogyny and racism, she blamed “Republicans moving to urban areas” .

That’s right – she’s the only “expert” in the US who hasn’t heard of the “Great Sort”.

The final point is interesting: Again: Why do these people record themselves and post their insane rants on social media?. I too am amazed what people will reveal about themselves, but then I don’t have any presence on typical social media so I’m easy to impress. However, this question is being raised by someone at a site that specializes in following social media accounts; they know what’s out there – and they’re impressed.

Well, that’s one liquor store she can never go back to. 😉

Or as this lady put it:
The GROWN ADULTS going into absolute hysterics, filming their deranged, paranoia fueled meltdowns, POSTING them, & calling off work today are the same people who think they’re more intelligent than you.

In what world should adults who behave this way be calling the shots?

She believes it’s easier to buy a gun than a book. The President said so.

She’s going to be so pissed when she learns she needs a permit to purchase, waiting period, photo ID, form 4473, instant background check . . .

    Big;

Your post reminds me of some posts by a bunch of lefties a couple of years ago when they were “shocked” to learn that people can’t a. buy a gun through the mail, b. or on the internet or c. at a gun show, without the process that you pointed out.

Regarding this ELCA looking, cackling harpie, I just love when they have to eat crow.

As representative elect Max Rymer pointed out on KTLK this morning, “the Democrats democracy kicked them right in the ass!”

Leaning towards Calvinism in my personal theology, and believing in total depravity, I think that Miss Walz is incorrect. We do deserve Kamala Harris, and it is by God’s grace that we did not get her. Praying, of course, that we do not get the worst of Donald Trump and JD Vance as well–for more of His mercy.

And maybe there is a bit of hypocrisy in my voice here, as I’m a long time blogger, but something about the self-importance of Ms. ELCA Hair and Miss Walz rankles here, especially Ms. ELCA hair taking “to the airwaves” without combing her hair or dressing up at all as if she could be taken seriously without caring for herself.

Ha! Obviously, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. She’s as ignorant as her parents.

So sad she had to switch out her bubbly bottle of champagne for several glasses of Alka-Seltzer and Everclear in order to get through the Orange Man victory.

    On a related note, The Babylon Bee came out with a funny story today. The headline;

“Democrats Admit That Trump Actually Won in 2020 and Is Now Unable to Serve a Third Term.”

Just wondering what kind of s-h-i-t storm that would cause if the left actually tried that play?

  12. MtkaMoose Says:

Bike – as a Calvinist myself, I believe you are exactly correct. Thank heaven that we don’t always get exactly what we deserve.

When liberals scream about getting justice for someone, pedantic me thinks that justice has been meted out. What they are looking for is mercy.

Boss – I’m waiting with bated breath to see if Democrats really do try to use the “insurrection” to disqualify Trump from taking office.

A high school classmate – and minister at a mainstream Protestant congregation in Tennessee not far from the Barrett factor – solemnly told me she was voting for Harris among other reasons, because she could buy a Barret .50 caliber sniper rifle without a background check.

I offered to write a $200 to a non-abortion-related charity of her choice if she got video of herself walking into a licensed dealer and not getting laughed out of the place when she tried.

    I think she blocked me.

    Oh well.

  15. John "Bigman" Jones Says:

One of my in-laws lives in Florida. Live-long public employee union Democrat – you know the type.

After Hurricane Ian, he was worried about looters but he didn’t have a gun. Guns are bad. You’ll only hurt yourself. Leave it to the professionals. Except they’re busy so now what?

He called to ask if he could have one of my guns. I tried to explain that even if I hadn’t lost them all in that tragic canoe accident, it’s an interstate transfer which must go through FFL. Well, how about if his cousin picks it up from me in Minnesota and sends it down to Florida. Straw purchase. What if he comes to Minnesota to get it in person? Florida resident, no Minnesota permit to purchase.

Come on, nobody will ever know. Unless you have to shoot someone and the cops ask “Where’d you get the gun?” You might be willing to commit perjury by claiming you found it in a ditch, but what do I say when the cops trace the serial number back to me?

Yes, but it’s an emergency. Isn’t there some provision for people who really need a gun? I had to bite my tongue to keep peace in the family, instead of pointing out he voted for politicians promising more gun-control his entire life and now he was getting it, good and hard. Sorry, no gun for you.

Did I mention he drives a $50,000 Jeep Hybrid but the batteries in his flashlight are dead? Maybe he figures the HOA will replace them for him?

^ Thanks for that comment, Mr Jones.

I got into an embarrassingly big argument about illegal immigrants yesterday with a guy at the club. A large part of the blame was mine because he literally had no idea, none, about all the problems caused by illegals, not to mention the money they cost.

It was my fault because I reacted poorly. Last week, last month (like an idiot I didn’t save a link or even a quote), I read about a Republican party operative who was complaining that DemoCommie policies had become so extreme so as to be unbelievable to the usual collection of ignorant, tried-and-true Democrat voters (Live-long public employee union Democrat – you know the type). For example, if Republicans talk about the procedures and ramifications of so-called “gender-affirming care”, these voters wouldn’t believe him. Oh, you watch too much Fox News. Or, anyone can publish anything now days.

When I mentioned about the activities of Venezuelan gangsters in Aurora, CO, or San Antonio, TX, it was discounted as probably just a few instances (he was unaware of the problem). I didn’t mention MS-13. Would I have brought up the numerous rape-murders by illegal immigrants, the Laken Riley case for example, it too would’ve been discounted in some way, you know, a few bad apples.

I was disappointed in myself because I was already warned, but the levels of ignorance, smug ignorance in some cases, is just amazing. I need to work on this.
