One Week
By Mitch Berg
The election is next week.
As I write this, Kamala Harris’s lead in the Real Clear Politics average has shrunk to under a point, while Trump’s lead in the seven battleground states that’ll likely decide the election is approaching a point. That’s all within the margin of error – but polls tend to undercount Trump, and he’s outperforming both his previous bouts.
So – after two years of chanting about Trump’s behavior after the 2020 election, will Democrats respect the decision if Harris loses?
So, yes, Trump will be elected as the 47th president of the United States, and the liberal talking heads will melt down just as they did in 2016. But what matters most is what happens after the election, and whether the experience of Americans will reflect renewed prosperity, a safer world, and respect for tradition and common sense. Many will try to prevent that, but making America great again should be a unifying goal. “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.”
I’m not sure the Democrats can let the nation have a peaceful, prosperous four years without repercussions.

Yup! The radicals in Congress, like Jamie Raskin and Dan Goldman, are making veiled threats of violence by MAGA Republicans if Trump loses or is not certified. In other words, calling for an insurrection. They will have AntiFa, BLM and illegal invaders, dress up in Trump swag and repeat January 6, again. I’ve seen enough alt media information to be convinced that the Dems were the ones that organized and funded it. Pictures and video of the capitol window breaker, revealed he was wearing an ear piece, pushing another person and trying to blame him. Investigators found that he’s a leader of the Oregon Antifa, who was also in Minneapolis during the riots.
Further, Congress allegedly passed a bill to all U.S. military personnel to open fire on U.S. citizens. I’m still trying to research this.

I recently heard someone say that they hope Trump wins the Popular Vote as well as the Electoral College because that will turn down the temperature (it might have been AK Kamara on Jack’s show, but I’m not 100% sure). I think that is just plain wrong.
There might be a percentage point worth of people that are sympathetic to repealing the Electoral College that won’t think about it for the next 4 years, but it won’t turn down the overall temperature at all.
Hillary Clinton still contends that the 2016 Election was stolen, but her assertions are completely different and totally not a threat to Democracy because she’s not a Dark MAGA Republican.
I don’t think there’s going to be another January 6th riot, no matter who wins, because the US Capitol is going to be locked down tighter than the Minnesota State Capitol building was under Speaker Hortman during Covid. What you will see are 2020 style outbreaks of violence scattered around the country, again, no matter who wins. I don’t expect to enjoy the next 3 months. I just hope that things settle down after the Inauguration.

BH see:
DOD Directive 5240.01. Regarding domestic operations:
Section 3.3.a.(2)(c) now explicitly permits lethal force in cases of imminent threats or national security emergencies, — against US Citizens on US soil.

Thanks, Mac.
And TRUMP is going to use the military against his enemies?
I’m wondering what would have happened if the Dems would have just left well enough alone and didn’t continue their open warfare against him?
