Kamala Harris’s choice of Tim Walz for her running mate appears to be hurting her…
Only 52% of Minnesota voters see him as an excellent or good choice, with 12% saying he’s a fair selection, and a staggering 34% saying he’s a poor pick.
Walz is underwater with men, with 49% approving of his selection and 50% opposing it. About 40% of male respondents called him a poor choice of running mate.
Voters under the age of 35, a key demographic Harris needs in November, also aren’t enthusiastic: 49% called Walz an excellent or good pick; the other 51% regarded him unfavorably. These voters make up 25% of the anticipated November electorate.
Walz is also one percentage point underwater with parents, with 48% regarding him favorably and 49% panning the pick. Among people with children, 35% say he was a poor selection.
And who knows him better than the people he’s been governing, badly and opaquely, for six years?

So, the MN media may be, in part anyway, to blame if/when the Ditz loses? Hah, that’s rich. By not covering stories about Walz (or covering them with a pillow, until they stop moving, a la iowahwk), the DNC was not aware of the various skeletons-in-the-closet Walz has. And it’s only just recently that they’re finding out. Too funny.

I’m reiterating my comments posted right after Kim Jong Walz volunteered to be VP. He needs to get out of Minnesota. He knows that the disastrous policies he signed off on, are going to devastate the state, leaving those of us that remain here, with a huge deficit.
I’m betting that these scandals are only the tip of the iceberg. Lest we forget, Wally was being investigated for cooking the books for the teacher’s pension fund. Funny! The media is silent.

If only the national media that do not know the “protect the DFL at all costs” rule would have stepped forward way back when Tampon Tim was first running for office. His love of the Chinese Communist Party would not have gone over well in my district, to put it mildly, and one would hope that even DFL-loving journalists would understand what Communism means for their profession and the world.

I’m going to laugh non-stop from November 5th to January 20th if Harris loses MN and PA. She passed over the actually popular, swing state governor Josh “Too Jewish” Shapiro after he forswore his support for Israel and rhetorically fed the Jews to Hamas because 5-10% of her voters in Michigan are antisemitic terrorism supporters. Instead, she picks Tim “Not Ready For Primetime” Walz from Minnesota, the only state that didn’t vote for Reagan in 1984 and is therefore the longest continuous, safe Democrat state in the Union, and he’s was so poorly vetted that his home state is turning against on him. It’s the type of absurdity that you can’t write into a fiction book because it’s too unbelievable.
It’s almost enough to make me believe that the MN GOP may have a chance in 2026 in spite of a Trump and/or MN GOP House win this year. I’m not putting money down on anything yet, though it’d be interesting to see what odds I could get for a 2026 victory under different 2024 scenarios.
