Assuming that the objection is predominantly to portrayals of same sex couples in their clothes, but rather same sex couples (ahem) out of their clothes, what strikes me is that if a heterosexual presents images of his favored sexual activities, social services will (and ought to) pay a visit. Why is it different for same sex couples, and whatever else there is?
