I don’t believe the US military has ever fielded anything like this. We’ve had amphibs (the dukw, or duck, and mabye an amphib with a machine gun), but a tank main gun?

The engineer in me gets a little nervous when I see the turret sitting right above the bridge. Seems to me that this would be something of a disadvantage in terms of center of mass and handling recoil.
For that matter, putting enough armor on the boat to make it fight-worthy against anything bigger than 7.62 might be interesting….you’ve got to have it float, after all.
