Now can we really object to this under the Americans with Disabilities Act? You can argue this all day, but it strikes me that as long as you can install an industrial strength bedpan at the bench without undue trouble, the law is pretty clear. If a person spills a pot of coffee and thinks “I should clean this up,” that person is an employee.
If a person spills a pot of coffee and thinks “I should find someone to clean this up,” that person is a manager.
