Good God, it is about time. The games were a waste of time, except for the biathlon. And bobsledding. And pole vaulting.

Have been for a century, really. As soon as the pretense of amateur athletics was lost, it became the very thing that de Coubertin detested–grotesque displays of nationalism and a total lack of sportsmanships. Good riddance.
