Hanson On The Democrats
By Mitch Berg
Victor Davis Hanson on the Democrats’ approach to Iraq:
Apparently the party line is that we can’t win, but we’re afraid to pull out in case we do, and so we will equivocate as we watch the battlefield and make the necessary rhetorical adjustments just in time.
They’ll vote for it, before they vote against it. Before they vote for it again.
Generals in the bedroom, lotharios on the battlefield.

Mitch slandered: “Generals in the bedroom, lotharios on the battlefield.”
Meanwhile, your guy is impotent in both arenas.

The lack of a democrat position speaks volumes vis-a-vis their hearts and minds .Only time will tell if, At the end of the day, they will see the big picture and use their core competencies to rise to the occasion and think outside the box.

“3. Have some measurable targets – gee, I can only remember suggesting that about 400 times.. and when I did, folks like oh, Terry, or Mitch, suggested it was subversive.”
WTF? In the comments here I have never stated a preferred tactical or strategic course in Iraq, other than that to accept defeat would be a disaster for Americans, the Iraqi’s, and the non-islamic world. The reason I haven’t is that it’s foolish for a person who gets all their info from the media to try and second guess the decisions of those who actually are responsible for holding that country together.

Categorically untrue.
