Turnabout Is Dirty Pool

By Mitch Berg

On the one hand, I love the way the Democrats are starting to squeal about the Clintons’ dirty tricks and misleading spin – once they’re aimed at Democrats.

On the other hand, as squealing goes, the video here is mighty funny.

That is very funny. Here are three vids from the same guy that are even funnier:

I think squealing is an equal opportunity political activity. Clinton sucks, but putting people in prison without charge, access to counsel or family, in violation of law, treaty, and ethics, sucks a lot too.. Personally, I squeal more about that one that the fact that Clinton (Bill or Hilary) suck, though, she really does suck.

Too bad Thompson and Gulliani suck more..I wonder if we could find vids of Republicans squealing about them?

    Whadya bet?

  3. nerdbert Says:

    Hillary sucks?! Alert Bill!

  4. Badda Says:

Congratulations to Peev for attempting to make a shorter post. That’s coming along nicely.

  5. peevish Says:

I make lots of short posts Badda, and a few very long ones.. but thanks for noticing :).

  6. peevish Says:

Gosh I love it when the news stories come out reporting what I’ve been saying for months (which happens fairly often.. and if humility were the practice here, I’d drop this sentence out, but it isn’).

Working or not (now), the fact is, neo-cons ignored the advice of experts and their betters about Iraq for four years. Those betters were right, the neo-cons wrong about approach – and they sat, stuck in amber, unchanging, in self-denial for four years. They get no credit for listening once they’d lost an election (and only because of that). It’s not living in the past to hold them accountable, it’s HOLDING THEM ACCOUNTABLE. BTW, lump in Hillary, she voted for this debacle – which is precisely what it is, even with the security turn around, this is an albatross we’re going to wear for decades.

    Anyway…http://www.usatoday.com/news/military/2007-12-18-iraqstrategy_N.htm?loc=interstitialskip

  7. Mitch Says:

if humility were the practice here

Which it certainly never is on your part.

They get no credit for listening once they’d lost an election

    Rubbish.

But the overarching question, Peev, is – what on earth does your comment have to do with this thread?

    Nothing!

  8. Yossarian Says:

Since when has Peev ever been on topic about anything?

Peev’s the Jar Jar Binks of Shot in the Dark.

  9. Badda Says:

Ouch! I’m not even hostile to Jar Jar, but that comment is going to leave a mark about as big as”NOOOOOOOOO!!! That’s not possible!

However, having searched my feelings I know this to be true.

Angry Clown: Mitch Berg never told you about your father.
Peevish: He told me you killed him!
Angry Clown: No, Peevish… I am your father.

  10. Kermit Says:

Nerdbert gets the comment of the day award. Doing in four words what others can’t in four paragraphs.

  11. Badda Says:

No one here has gone over two paragraphs… even Peev.

  12. Terry Says:

Peev, the left can’t take credit for the relative improvement in Iraq following the surge. The left has insisted on only one strategy in Iraq: withdraw all US forces immediately. With the exception of Lieberman and a very few others, the Dem congressional caucus has fought the surge every step of the way.
Your bleating about how the election forced Bush to change course is nonsense. After the dem victory in the 2008 election he set about increasing the number of troops in Iraq, not reducing them.

  13. angryclown Says:

Can’t you wingnuts stay on-topic? Sheesh!

  14. Badda Says:

    “Can’t you wingnuts stay on-topic?”

Coming from you, AC, that’s rich.

  15. angryclown Says:

Baddabing flunks the irony test. Again.

  16. Badda Says:

That’s exactly what I said about you, AC.

  17. swiftee Says:

Before they post another fucking word about “laws”, “treaties” or God forgive them, “ethics” here’s a video that Pee fish and AssClown need to see:

    http://www.warriorsfortruth.com/VIDEO-BEHEADING-Eugene-Armstrong.WMV

Now; you want to cry another river about access to council, asswipe?

    Thought not.

  18. angryclown Says:

    Suck it, douchebag.

  19. angryclown Says:

When are those Islamofascists going to get around to beheading Tom Swift and His Electric Bullshit Machine anyway? Oh right, Swiftee just talks – would never get within a thousand miles of a war zone.

Nor his kids – got those good grades to stay out of Iraq, eh?

  20. Mitch Says:

never get within a thousand miles of a war zone.

    Actually, Tom’s a veteran.

  21. angryclown Says:

America salutes you for your sacrifice, Tom Swift. Lord knows those latrines don’t scrub themselves.

  22. Badda Says:

    AC:
    “Suck it, douchebag.”

Well, I guess that ends the arguement. The next time I want to trump anyone’s point I’ll just say, “Suck it, douchebag“.

I hope more of the presidential candidates take AC’s advice. Can you imagine hearing Hillary tell Biden to “Suck it, douchebag”? Or McCain telling Ron Paul to “Suck it, douchbag”. I’d love to hear Fred say “Suck it, douchbag” to that newspaper lady in Iowa. Maybe we could get the President to start saying that to members of Congress and the WH Press Corp… “Hey, douchbag… suck it.” Better yet, let’s release a special video to broadcast to the world saying, “Hey bin-Laden… suck it, douchbag.”

  23. Terry Says:

Ah, Swiftee, you’re forgetting the bizarre ethical reasoning of those on the left. They believe our enemies are not moral free agents, they are doomed to react with happiness and smiles if we’re nice to them or violence and terror if we’re mean to them. American conservatives, however, have free will and actively choose evil out of greed and desire to control the wealth of others.
Thinking that this is the way the real world world operates makes them do things like, oh, engage in insults and ad-hominem attacks when they are challenged with a statement that points out witlessness of their arguments.

  24. angryclown Says:

    “Swiftee.” “Argument.” Pretty funny.

Get a clue, Baddabing. Argument is reserved for smarter guys than you and Swiftee. Angryclown responds to douchebags by informing them they’re douchebags.

  25. angryclown Says:

Terry blathered: “engage in insults and ad-hominem attacks when they are challenged with a statement.”

Gee Volcano Boy, which statement was it you found most intellectually rigorous, from a conservative point of view?

    Was it:

“Before they post another fucking word about “laws”, “treaties” or God forgive them, “ethics” here’s a video that Pee fish and AssClown need to see.”

    Or maybe:

“you want to cry another river about access to council [sic], asswipe?”

    Douchebag.

Two more on this thread and you guys will have a basketball team.

  26. Terry Says:

Golly, clown, no idea your feelings were so easily hurt. Maybe your one o’ them clowns that cries a lot.

Swiftee’s response was a jihad video of a non-combatant they captured. He was a civil engineer helping to rebuild Iraq. They weren’t too quick in sawing off his head. Afterwards the murders held up his head and shouted “God is Great” specifically linking their actions to their religion.
Yet to you guys on the left the biggest civil rights and fundamentalist religious problems in the world are jihadist Jose Padilla’s lack of habeus corpus and Bush’s off the cuff remark that the evolution question hasn’t been settled.

Swiftee called you an asswipe, but he didn’t say your argument was shibai _because_ you were an asswipe.

This is an example of an ad-hominem attack. You may recognize the words:
“For those of you scoring at home, wingnuts think racism ended about 40 years ago cause that’s when the racists started voting Republican instead of Democratic.”

  27. phony01 Says:

got those good grades to stay out of Iraq, eh?

    Huh?

  28. angryclown Says:

Yeah, Terry, maybe Angryclown is boohooing over the latest witless attack from Swiftee (or just the misspellings and sub-literate manner of expression contained therein).

Actually, turns out Angryclown was simply providing support for classifying you, Swiftee and Badda as follows:

    Swiftee: Summer’s Eve

    Terry: Massengill

Badda: good old vinegar and water

  29. Badda Says:

AC really seems worked up… also, his “insults” aren’t very fresh. Poor Clown…. crying on the inside.

  30. Kermit Says:

That’s an impressive knowledge of women’s hygiene products. I think we now have some indication of Clownie’s recreational interests.

  31. Badda Says:

    Suck it, douchebag!

    I win! I win! I win!!!

  32. angryclown Says:

Kermit marveled: “That’s an impressive knowledge of women’s hygiene products.”

I’m not sure whether this means that Kermit hasn’t been around any ladies before or that the well-fed lovelies he meets in the Twin Cities prefer to go natural.

  33. Badda Says:

…either that, or AC “interacts” with a lot of women who require cash up front.

  34. Kermit Says:

It means Kermit has difficulty imagining angryclown associating with women in any non professional setting. But now that I think about it, the professional setting might provide further answers.

  35. angryclown Says:

Here’s video from my private snuff film collection of a guy getting his balls torn off and jammed into his ears. If that’s not enough to get Peev, Angryclown and all them other librals to tear up the right to council, freedom from warrantless serch and seezure and right to tryal, well I don’t know what I’ll do. Maybe I’ll draw a crappy cartoon with a helmet on a feetis.

    Tom Swift
    ‘Murican

  36. swiftee Says:

    Heh.

If I had a spare beltloop available I’d have AssClown join the rest of my moonbat bitches right about now.

What do you say Mitch, do I get to hang the Clown’s pelt up?

  37. Yossarian Says:

    Isn’t “Pelting the Clown” a euphemism for. . .

  38. Kermit Says:

…improper use of feminine hygiene products,

  39. swiftee Says:

    Bwahahahaha!

I hate to put words in Swiftee’s mouth, but I believe the reason he posted the link to the beheading video was to make the point that it is sometimes necessary to endure bad things — like Abdullah al-Muhajir, nee’ Jose Padilaa being denied habeous corpus — in order to accomplish good things — like stopping Mr. al-Mujahir & his pals from killing lots of people. Most adults realize this.
In any event the amount of restrictions on our civil liberties we are willing to accommodate to achieve a larger security goal is a political question, and that has been settled. The Dem’s got control of both houses of Congress this past January and yet they haven’t freed Padilla or rescinded the patriot act. Not a politically winning ploy, I guess.
They have, however, continued the republican practice of pork barrel politics and deficit spending.
    Must suck to be you.

  41. Kermit Says:

Um, Terry, Jose got convicted. Only Bush can “free him”.

  42. swiftee Says:

Don’t waste your time with AssClown Terry. Our duty, when dealing with leftist nit-wits like the Clown and his butt buddy Pee fish is to mock them, to smush the pap they regurgitate right back into their feral faces, not to entertain their delusions.

It’s the tough love approach…harsh yes, but it is what is best for them.

  43. swiftee Says:

Kermit, I think that Terry was speaking about the suspect, not the convict Padilla.

  44. Kermit Says:

The Dem’s got control of both houses of Congress this past January and yet they haven’t freed Padilla
    You’re sure?

  45. Terry Says:

Yeah, I assumed that peev was referring to Padilla when he wrote “putting people in prison without charge, access to counsel or family, in violation of law, treaty, and ethics, sucks a lot too.”

For a guy without access to the remedy of the courts, Padilla has sure had a lot of legal briefs filed in his defense. Looks to me like the White House outlawered him.
