Here’s A Prediction For You
By Mitch Berg
If you look on the leftyblogs and on Twitter, you will see another surge of people referring to Tom Horner – the Independence Ventura party candidate – as “Republican Tom Horner”. Especially since he was endorsed yesterday by “Republican” (albeit in name only ) former governor Arne Carlson.
In fact, I think it looks like a huge surge of this sort of spin-mongering.
I’m going to bet that means the Dayton camp has seen another poll showing Horner drawing vastly more DFLers than Republican likely voters.

I think you pointed this out, but……You don’t hear that the so-called “Republican” Arnie Carlson is an Obama man. Having endorsed the one-time community organizer in 2008.

Carlson is a self aggrandizing, egotistical, has been. As far as the MNGOP of today he’s completely irrelevant. He’s a shill of the DFL and MSM. Ride off into the sunset Arne, believe me, you won’t be missed.
Q: What’s an Arne Carlson?
A: A PATHETIC DOLT!!!!!!!!

Yes, Arne’s time has passed. The NY transplant doesn’t “get it” any more today than he did when he got here.
It’s pretty pathetic that he couldn’t even win an election for a home ownder’s/condo association.

Hey Arne, how’s Oscar?
(sorry, I just can never help myself when it is time to discuss Arne)

When Arne endorsed BHO for the Presidency, I sent an e-mail to the Republican Party of Minnesota, with a cc to Pawlenty, saying (in essence), that if they didn’t publicly and floridly kick him out within 72 hours, they had seen their last dollar and last lifted finger from me.
My position has not changed.

So a former governor not holding any office should be kicked out for supporting someone from another party, but a sitting mayor being denied an endorsement for supporting the other party is somehow beyond the pale?

Beyond the pale? No. Actually, it’s a perfect example of what I’m talking about.
