Not A Recipe For Cookies

By Johnny Roosh

The Obama-Pelosi-Reid machine combined the radicalism of Alinsky, the corruption of Springfield and the machine power politics of Chicago.

…keep the oven door closed, bake at 500 degrees for a whole weekend, and the result should be no surprise.

It is hard to imagine how much pressure they brought to bear on congressman Stupak to get him to accept a cynical, phony clearly illegal and unconstitutional executive order on abortion. The ruthlessness and inhumanity of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid machine was most clearly on display in their public humiliation of Stupak.

He did look like he was about to cry…or had “dropped the soap” in a prison shower.

Or, he just couldn’t convince his buddies that the phantom language was in the legislation.

CARE to show me where that language about the feds paying for abortion is located? I’d love to see you quote it.

Stupak was grandstanding on a bogus claim. He got a lot of press coverage claiming the language was between pages 33 and 44. It is not.

Someone must have called his bluff. I’m guessing whoever that was enjoyed it. I hope so.

DG, which walnut shell is the pea under? (hint there’s no pea at all)

Give this a read via our friend Ed Morrissey at Hot Air:

Stupak allowed himself to be emasculated!

Here is what Stupak’s website says about the controversy:

Since last summer Stupak and other pro-life members of Congress insisted that health care reform maintain current law of no federal funding for abortion. Stupak and other pro-life members of Congress made clear that on its own, H.R. 3590 would implement a dramatic shift in federal policy that would allow the federal government to subsidize insurance policies with abortion coverage and recognize abortion as a benefit in a federal health plan. However, after intense negotiations with Stupak and other pro-life Democrats, President Obama announced he would sign an Executive Order reaffirming the Hyde amendment could not be circumvented and that no taxpayer dollars would be used to pay for health plans that cover abortion.

  4. K-Rod Says:

So, DG, if you could just point out in the bill where it specifically and undeniably prohibits taxpayer dollars from paying for abortions you could clear this up for not only me but millions of others citizens. Thanks in advance, DG. 😉

Speaking of Chicago-style power politics, how’s the Blagojevich trial going? He has enough time to face Donald Trump and his children. Is there a reason the trial can’t get underway inside of a decade?

  6. Terry Says:

Tony, they should bust open the whole Chicago political racket. “I’ll give you this government contract and you hire the people on this list” does not seem to to be a difficult case to prosecute, especially when it happens thousand of times every year.
Working people can’t afford to support this shibai anymore.
