Establishment Protection
By Mitch Berg
I’ll direct your attention to the Alondra Cano corollary to Berg’s 21st Law. To wit:
Cano’s Corollary to Berg’s 21st Law: In Blue city electoral politics, “blue” never gets “lighter” or less “progressive”. There is only one electoral direction – more “progressive”.
Submitted in the affirmative:
The primary effect of Ranked Choice Voting is to protect “the establishment”, whatever “the establishment” is.
And when your establishment is basically Marxism…

Omar Fateh isn’t the Mayor that Minneapolis needs.
Omar Fateh is the Mayor that Minneapolis deserves.

Good one, Smith. I’d add a comment from Matt Walsh
I defy anyone to list even one way that the United States has benefited from Somalian immigration. Just one benefit. Go ahead.

Corruption is endemic in the DFL even more so for the Samali’s. Once Omar gets in, he’ll put all his buddies on the payroll and those buddies will put in their buddies and so on. We saw this in St. Paul with Carter.
I wonder if he’ll start putting in place Sharia friendly policies.

For certain, Betty.
“Minneapolis is not safe for Muslim men. Every day, we are assaulted on the streets. We must make our community safe for all. Therefore I call for coverings of the entire female body to end the visual assault, prohibition of perfume to end the olfactory assault, and male family member escort to end the temptation assault. I call for 1000 new hires in the Police Department Morality Squad to guarantee an end to entrapment in rape by temptresses. And I call for an end to places which promote lewd, lascivious, provocative behavior…bars, nightclubs, sex toy shops… and places which promote falsehoods that lead people stay from the path of the one true peace… colleges which admit women, churches and synagogues, movie theaters. Together we can make Minneapolis a city to be proud of.”

A bit ghoulish, but perhaps the progressive urban yuppies that keep voting for people like Ilhan and Omar, need to see a bit of sharia law in action. If they see a couple of women murdered under the guise of “honor killings” or stoned to death for adultery on Nicolllet mall, maybe, just maybe, they’ll wake up.
On another note, Muslim teen gangs have supposedly been roaming the affluent neighborhoods of primarily Minneapolis, but also St. Paul, harassing, intimidating and even assaulting women and girls as young as 9 but, of course, no one would hear anything about it on our local propaganda spewing media outlets.

BH429: Mild democrats might speak up. But hard core leftists would not. Muslims are still one of the two highest priority protected classes in Minneapolis. Therefore their culture is superior to typical American values of law and order, and must never be questioned. One need only look as far as to the number of Caucasian atheists who show up to pro-Palestine protests wearing keffiyehs.

Like I have said about bullies: The only way to get them to stop is to cause them to experience greater pain than they dish out. I think pro-Muslim AWFLs will not realize what they are doing and encouraging until they get smacked upside the head (figuratively and maybe literally) by Sharia enforcers.

And like bullies, they will run away and not stay and fight for their city. They will take their bleeding progressive privilege to further cities and suburbs, leaving Minneapolis to the New Order. If you want to enjoy any western cultural events or amenities the city prides itself on, better do it soon.

This is why you want politicians to be old enough to remember the realities of bread lines in the old Soviet Union, and aware enough to know what rent control does. There are things government does well, and those Adam Smith called “public goods”. Then there are non-public goods, and government doesn’t do those well at all.

After reading John “Bigman” Jones, I wonder does anyone remember when the left mocked Phyllis Schlafly?
Oh, they would still mock her now, but then those folks never were any good at spotting irony.

NW: That’s a basic difference in brain wiring between conservatives and liberals. Almost always, if a conservative sees something they don’t like, they just avoid it and leave it alone (abortion and DOGE not withstanding). If a liberal activist sees something they don’t like, due to their inherent narcissistic quality of “I’m right, you’re wrong no matter what, and my being right Trumps (ed: pun intended.)every other possibility no matter what”, they work to change it and enforce the change. They can’t leave anything alone.

Mitch, just delete my previous moderated comment. I forgot to change the DEE OH GEE to a DEE ZERO GEE

I think it’s a mistake to believe that the election of Fateh, and the imposition of Sharia, will cause Mpls DSA’s to regret their choice.
To the contrary, I think they’ll be in heaven. They’ll become observant and respectful, and they will congratulate themselves for fighting their colonialist past.
Even as they are killed off.
July 15th, 2025 at 4:54 pm
And they will welcome death – because, after all, isn’t that the ultimate way of signalling virtue?
Oh, what wonderfully good people they are, and they want to take us all down with them.

If that’s not the Sammi who played Pirate Captain it’s his brother.
“Look at me. I’m the Mayor now”

That said, I would vote for him 10/10. He’s perfect for Minneapolis. Mite send him $10, idk.
