Ejected

By Mitch Berg

Suddenly, the DFL is stoked.  Nikki the Ninja is no longer the juiciest (alleged) crime story in the MN State Senate.

For now, anyway.  Sen. Justin Eichhorn got arrested for soliciting a “16 year old girl” who turned out to be a police decoy.

The Bloomington Police Department said Eichorn, 40, of Grand Rapids, solicited sex from a detective posing as a 17-year-old girl online. Eichorn and the detective arranged to meet near the 8300 block of Normandale Boulevard.

Eichorn was seen arriving in his pickup truck at the rendezvous point and was taken into custody just after 5:45 p.m., police said.

As of this publishing, Eichorn remained in the Bloomington Police Department’s custody awaiting transfer to the Hennepin County Jail. Formal charges have yet to be filed.

The DFL…well, they tried to have a field day with it. It didn’t end well:

So let’s recap: Republicans immediately demand their reprobate’s resignation. The DFL has been stalling on any meaningful action on Nicole “Nikki the Ninja” Mitchell for almost a year, now.

Which isn’t stopping them from try to deflect:

The DFLers are using this to deflect from their hypocrisy on Nikki the Ninja. The Repubulicans were clear, then and now: both both need to go. Stat.

KARE’s Jana Shortal, whose prospects of that MSNBC gig seems to be shrinking by the day, sounded off:

So apparently Democrats are going to take a break from burning Teslas to tell us “there’s no such thing as Trump Derangement”.

Or maybe not:

Oh, DFL…

Help me here. The age of consent in MN is 16. Except for the yucky factor that some might have about a 40 yr old man and a 17 yr old woman, what exactly is the problem here?

I noticed this morning that Press Sec’y Leavitt (27) is married to someone 32 yrs older and this has been declared to be weird among the MSM. I recall that the sexual relationship between 49 yr old Bill Clinton and 22 yr old Monica Lewinsky was not a problem. Nor was Biden showering with his daughter or running around naked with female SS agents… sorry, sorry, I forgot, it’s different when we do it.

Jess Hanson is gaslighting. DFeLon Mitchell broke into the home of a vulnerable adult and since the victim literally stepped on her in her bedroom, I’m betting that something tragic could have happened to her.

UGH! Forgot this. When I want a “boost” during the day, I just remember that JD Vance is our VP and not Timmy.

jdm, look closely. He’s being charged with soliciting a minor for prostitution. More or less, when dollars are involved, it goes from icky to criminal.

  5. Night Writer Says:

No conflation? Well, there is that “felony” word.

  6. SmithStCrx Says:

    Today’s DFL simultaneously believes;
Senator Mitchell shouldn’t even face an Ethics Hearing until AFTER her trial.
Burglary of a vulnerable senior citizen cannot be compared to solicitation of a minor in any way because “child rape”!!!
Criminals shouldn’t be prosecuted if they’re under 25 because their brains aren’t developed.
16 year olds should be allowed to vote.
People shouldn’t drink or smoke until they’re 21.

Many of these beliefs are contradictory.

I presume that they also will attack the GOP for not preemptively calling for Eichorn to resign before he was even arrested.

At this time, Tesla is up to $235. Some ignorant DemoCommie put up a website, doxxing Tesla owners with their addresses and phone numbers around the country. Of course, they have a statement claiming that they aren’t advocating violence. Uh. Huh. Right! Then state that they will remove the owner’s information, if they show proof that they sold it.

This is just as stupid as all of the liquor store owners in Canadia, taking videos of them removing bottles of Jack Daniels and Jim Beam, that they already paid for, off of the shelves. Of the 15 people that I know that own Teslas, 14 of them are DemoCommies. Number 15 just has one because they are so fast.

Didn’t Hollywood Democrats just celebrate “sex workers” plying their craft?

  9. John "Bigman" Jones Says:

Republicans should kick him out then tell Democrats “We got rid of ours, now you get rid of yours.”

They won’t of course, but that gives Republicans a perfect excuse to go home -both senators and representatives – thus depriving Democrats of a quorum to pass a budget bill to prevent a government shut down.

If protecting their criminal is more important than keeping the lights on, let’s make that a campaign issue.

  10. Bill C Says:

Burglary of a vulnerable senior citizen cannot be compared to solicitation of a minor in any way because “child rape”!!!

They need to tread carefully there. A growing segment of their base sees nothing wrong with child rape and it is the next human-involved taboo they are trying to normalize/destigmatize.

If protecting their criminal is more important than keeping the lights on, let’s make that a campaign issue.

Too many of them are either too mild or too afraid of a democrat smear campaign to do this.

  11. Mr. D Says:

As always, that’s different because shut up.

  12. SmithStCrx Says:

    John,
The Senate DFL has a quorum. There are 34 DFL Senators.
The GOP always gets the blame for government shutdowns in Minnesota. Doing something as obviously at fault as not showing up will just exacerbate the electoral bloodbath in 2026.

  13. CapitalBabs Says:

I am glad that GOP Leadership is recognizing a difference between the legal process to which he is entitled and his responsibilities to ethical behavior as a member of the Senate which is not just about what is legal or illegal. I am a bit amused though that the DFL is jumping all over themselves to send their calls for him to resign directly to the media AFTER the GOP called on him publicly to do so and said they would vote to expell him.

And while I prefer the clean vote on just on principle, one of the commenters in Hausers X thread suggested the motion to expel should include both members and see how the DFL voted on that… given the numbers, that will not happen but the THOUGHTS of the political ramifications of that vote did make me giggle.
