Berg’s Seventh Law In Action. Always, Always In Action.
By Mitch Berg
I first codified Berg’s Seventh Law – progressives are always projecting their motives and actions onto conservatives – nearly twenty years ago. It may be the thing for which I and this blog are best known outside Minnesota.
And there’s a reason for that. It’s universal.
We’ve seen it in different ways in different eras in the evolution of Big Left. But the most grating started sixteen years ago, when the Obama administration could be said to have started on its path of racial division and plate throwing by starting the claim that our society was awaiting a wave of right wing/”white supremacist” terror that “would dwarf 9/11”.
Of course, since then left-wing terror has dominated the coercion landscape by (charitably) a couple orders of magnitude – even when Big Left begs for evidence of right wing terror they can’t find it, while it just keeps coming to us.
Case in point: while falsely calling Elon Musk a “Nazi”…
…they act exactly like brownshirts.
Or at least yap about it on social media:
Gotta destroy the public square to save it, apparently.

Speaking of liberal insanity, I’m curious to know how libidiot women feel about left wing woman hater Tony Evers, Governor of Wisconsin, wanting to change the word mother to “inseminated person” into law and then, defending it.
I guess this can be added to all of the other derogatory terms the trans focused left uses, such as birthing person, person with a uterus, chest feeder or person who menstruates. Yup! The left is all about womyn’s rights.

I seem to remember Canada being aghast that Israel would cut off electricity in Gaza. That’s a human rights violation if not an actual war crime.
Unless Canada does it. Then, it’s different.

Why is it the rules only go in one direction?

It is interesting to see how the progressive left sees unleashing their own private Sturmabteilung to inflict a Kristallnacht on Tesla owners and dealers somehow reduces the risk of fascism. Just sayin’.
I’m no huge fan of the subsidies paid to Tesla myself–I don’t resent rich people, but I do resent subsidizing their toys–but even I can figure out that trying to destroy those toys does not exactly make my point very well.

As former SItD poster Kermit so eloquently stated about 15 years ago, and has been proven applicable at least monthly if not more frequently since: If it weren’t for double standards, the left would have none.
