Place Your Bets

Along with Ken Martin, the current candidates for chair of the Democrat National Committee are:
-
Ben Wikler, chair of the Wisconsin Democrat Party
-
Martin O’Malley, former governor of Maryland
-
Marianne Williamson, self-help loonie.
-
Robert Houton, non-profiteer and sorta Senate candidate.
-
Nate Snyder, bureaucrat
-
James Skoufis, a York State senator.
-
Jason Paul, of the (checks notes) Newton, Massachusetts Democratic City Committee.
And I have to think one of those last seven…
…had to have commissioned putting this tweet out. Maybe under a fake Tim Walz account?
It seems improbable.
But this seems to be a bit of a…tactical error on Martin’s part.

I guess Tampon Timmy forgot to tout Martin’s ability to lie, cheat and break laws and support felons (Nicole Mitchell), to “install” idiots like him.

I’ve gotta think that the MN label has been tainted, at least in leadership and/or visible positions, after this last election. I mean, there had to be some shock at the DNC level when they realized what an incompetent boob Walz is.

jdm,
You’re giving the DemoCommies too much credit. They should never have picked him in the first place.
But, you are correct. I have over 70 former colleagues and friends around the country, many of them Dems. Over 30 of them called me within two weeks of him joining Kamala’s campaign and asked me wtf Minnesota voters are doing electing morons like him? I reminded the Dems among them that Minnesota wasn’t the only state that has elected irrational idiots just because they have Ds after their names, pointing to both Biden and Kamala as prime examples.

BH429: Like I’ve said here before, another reason MN elected such a clown with such a *ahem*……..colorful…….past was our state media being completely incurious about the closets potentially containing skeletons of any candidate with a D after their name. But we sure heard about it 24/7 for days after it was discovered Tom Emmer had a 30 year old DWI which was pled down to reckless driving.

It would be interesting to see how Martin did on a national stage, where he actually had to beat competent opposition. The state GOP are the Washington Generals of politics.

The X ratio is about 99.9:1 for the good guys…

boss, I don’t know how I’m giving DemoCommies any credit. For anything.
What I’m saying is that after the experience of Walz as the VP candidate, the DNC, the DemoCommies at the national level, the movers and shakers, those who wield real power, will never let another MNn back in.
Incompetent boobs like Walz fooled the DNC because of the success of the DFL. Many factors. The population of the metro area viz a viz Greater MN, the MSM, the Scandi culture that venerates big government, the weakness of GOP. Has Ken Martin ever had to run a campaign where he didn’t start with a huge lead. Didn’t he lose CD8?

Ken Martin is probably the “safe” choice for the DNC. He really has no ideology of his own to push beyond doing what the money people tell him his ideology is.
I’m personally concerned that the Democrat Establishment might get their act together and select Martin O’Malley. He’s a liberal Democrat circa 2000. In other words, not crazy.

KMartin and company somehow convinced a majority of Minnesotans to elect Walz as their governor. He didn’t create Walz, but he managed to put him in our top spot.
The country has now seen Walz.
Ken Martin must be seen as a wizard of persuasion across the country at this point. “If he can get Walz elected, he can do anything!”

^ This simply not true. Most of MN is solid red. Most counties in MN went for Jensen.

There are, however, four or five areas in MN, the metro, Rochester, Mankato, Moorhead and all the socialists up in the iron range that reliably, mindlessly vote DFL. They outnumber the rest of the state. The only thing Ken Martin did is make sure they all turned out.

I’m going to disagree with my comment from last evening which is still in moderation as of this writing. If it stays moderated, that’s fine too.
